No longer called riverside festival as the council have taken away the funding its just a funfair now, no fireworks bands or anything else

So been speaking to the showmen they agreed that its known as the riverside festival but this year its not so I have changed the title to Nottingham Trent Embankment cheers.

In Ireland there used to be a funfair in this particular location however the council also cut the funding of it. Used to be big enough with a concert too. Now the town is essentially dead most summers without it apart from the odd cruise ship that comes in.

The Nottingham Riverside festival always attracted thousands of people over the 3 days but I fear with it just being a funfair this year the attendance will suffer thanks for watching 👍

Usually there’s another ride infront of the memorial but i went today and nothing was there other than proctors dodgems…

Yes hope so but I know there will be nothing replacing the stages where the musicians play so going to be a big gap there
