Great insight into Mauritian lives, note that the household Rooster breathes a sigh of relief knowing he is not on the dinner menu today! A humble but proud family who use basic resources to cook, no canned rubbish laden with salts and sugars, how refreshing. What a beautiful meal.

I hope MBC will add more: Achard légume, Satini ti-chevrette la rivière, Rougaille chevrette sec, 7 cari, dhol puri, etc.... Mauritius is very rich in this culinary sense. Otherwise _Kanal Austral_ will send a team here and they will be first to capture our best recipes for views. Competition is tough.
