I remember Jordan got some "bad" press after he scored 50 against miami so he decided to open this game against detroit by not shooting. Somewhere he started taking shots and immidiately hit 3 fg in a row. It was amazing to see how everytime the media started poking holes in his game he proved them wrong. Even fans like me would start doubting MJ and he would prove his fominance over and over again...

I remember in 1996-1997 season, i hate the Air Jordan 12 Taxi because i was so disappointed by the trade of Shaquille to the Lakers while Shaq could win a championship in 1997 with the Magic after his experience with the Magic in the last Playoffs. Today AJ 12 are maybe my favorite air Jordan and right now this season is maybe my favorite season!!

@@HALO23993 I was a bulls fan and I agree that Shaq and the magic would eventually get past the bulls in the playoffs. Chicago would age and Orlando would just get better. Never liked Shaqs move to LA because even though I was a Bulls fan I loved that Orlando team with Penny, Horace and Shaq. The 1997 season is my favorite as well, 50th anniversary year, MJs last year in his peak somewhat because in1998 you could see MJ was aging, getting his jumper blocked every now and then, not dunking with the same ease and finishing alleyoops with layups instead of dunks. This makes it amazing thatMJ was still on top though but watching him in 1997 was really the last season he was physically still at maybe 95% of his peak. Loved the Jazz eho were suddenly aging like fine whine after all those years together, the Knicks had maybe their best team in years with the addition of LJ and Allan Houston moving Starks to the 6th man role while Oakley and Ewing were still performing at their usual levels. The Heat breaking thtough as a contending team with Mourning, Hardaway and Majerle. Houston with their aging big three were a huge favorite in the westwith the Shaq Lakers becoming instant contenders to. What a year... 50th anniversary celebration uniforms throughout the season...

I have the ESPN broadcast version of this game on VHS. I sure miss the days of going out to the local court and playing bball after watching a Bulls game. MJ inspired so much that he gave us Kobe. But now everything NBA is contracts, branding and overcorporatized. You just don't see anyone playing cause a player inspired them. Its just all about the bag. The NBA needs to get back to promoting the love for the game instead of promoting branding and money. The money can be there quietly and not be the central focus.

Great observation, however this is not an NBA problem, it's a corporations-run-the-country problem. And, unfortunately the current trend will not change because their only goal is to make more money than the year before, every year. It's only going to get worse.

Remember in the Last Dance when Mike told that story about Longley doing nothing after going off in the first quarter vs the Jazz, and the Bulls lost? Well this is the game he is actually referring to. And they won.

Why do you not keep more Bulls Actions? Ok we can see some of the adversaries actions but we see too much of the Pistons and not enough of the Bulls. It whould 85% 15 %. Here i'm sure it is 60/40. I oove the Pistons 97, it is not the problem, but i just want to see more triangle if you see what i mean. I just saw 3 triangles in the video. When i discovered your channel, nobody watched your video, and your videos were really better!!! Now everybody watched your videos, but your videos are totally useless!!

@@meg-k-waldren I'm talking about the fact that his videos has more Bulls actions when i discovered his channel 10 years ago. Now we also see a lot of actions of the adversaries and it is not the aim of the channel.
