The bottom part of my comment is to reference easy passive evasion/accuracy ect in kits that classes get so every class is on level footing and instead you're given points to invest into like a tree. So mystics as an example wouldn't auto be the default evasion class. For build flexibility

The amount of new grab classes with infinite protected movement+cc+dmg are too damn high, we none grab classes need some resistance or breakthrough chance cc on fg or sa. Fighting these fg sa classes is challenging and i like that but when some people rush to you just to grab combo things get boring very fast

i totally agree with you, current BDO is like a grab game with no mechanic needed. simply just rotate SA and wait for your grab chance. when i saw grab classes fighring each other i just feel like the fight is boring. on the other hand, when non-grab classes fight with grab classes is a lot more mechanic and technique. *kinda funny that when those SA classes, Sa block + grab win non grab classes and thought that they are better and those pp are bad *dont get me wrong, im also playing grab class (hash tag sage)

Totally agree. There needs to be more mechanics like the Corsair block break that act as alternatives to grabs. I was hoping for a counter attack on Musa/Maehwa retaliate with the rework where, if you hit the block, retaliate works through SA/FG. Easy enough to work around but means you can't just perma SA without thinking. Also, classes need more protection gaps, but they seem to be just adding more protection to everyone instead.

I would have no problems with BDO enhancement system if failstacking did not exist. failstacking, specially high end stacks, is the most stressful tedious shit ever.

Nova is definitely not fine and I don’t see why nova players don’t talk about it. They balanced the entire class around engarde and then made it harder to get into engarde making the class the same as a zerk who relies on ebuff. Without engarde you have a class who’s horrifically affected by slows, with one protected cc, and really isn’t that fast without engarde. And after you get engarde the stamina nerf has you gasping for air like a fat chick with asthma.

This is true Novas don't talk about it cause there are like 7 of us (obviously being sarcastic) but they nerfed the class 3 times in 4 weeks. Stam and stars breath change then the bug fix on Frozen ring and fuse gravity then the succ changes to axiom. Nova is still good but holy hell the Stam nerf doesn't hurt till your in engarde for that 30sec of burst. I think the other reason is the vast majority of people playing Nova play it for PVE over pvp and the nerfs really didn't do anything on the pve side of things.

Most people on nova just spam succ so they dont have to be so reactive.. completely agree on the awake issues, but lets not forget that brutal ring is also borderline useless as is accel Fleche. Seeing the stam nerf next to things like warrior/striker rework movement kinda makes me feel like they forgot that awake nova was supposed to be a very mobile class.

Hey Heedun, I am not a sorc player but I would like your opinion on how to fight awakening nova 1v1 while they are using their E buff. I haven't played too much recently and I heard Nova was extremely broken while she has the e buff active. Can you explain to me why her E buff is so good, and how to potentially counter it? I would like your advice because I have seen your videos, and since you play sorc, you might have some insight on how to catch her without using a grab, while she is using her E buff? I did watch your video but it is hard to tell what is going on without actually playing, so I wanted to see if you can give me any advice. Thank you in advance!

Here's a hot take for all the sage players. If your class goes from broken to "unplayable" by changing 1 skill, your class is badly designed. At least you have your pretty animations. Honorable mentions with a similar problem would be Lahn, Nova,Berserker. Hot take number 2, a fully balanced game is boring.

Well Succ sage was killed cuz they nerfed Rift Chain by removing the AND making it visible. So succ sages have no safe movement and their skills take long time to cast and are predictable (they where very predictable even before nerfs, the enemy could know before hand what skill was coming). Awk sages are fine.

I play zerk and honestly the class is gonna do just fine without q buff however they want to screw up our awakening movement for whatever reason by removing the belly flop animation from titan step and making it so we cant cancel out of it. succession zerk rework is really good but needs a little more protection. as for sage their class isnt unplayable just because they lost an . they still have pretty solid protected movement and ridiculous damage output.

@sorbee you need to level your class to lvl 56 so you can use awakening or succession. From there u will start to feel your class

Nova requires a lot of positioning into attack as the class doesn’t have . U gotta look into other classes skills play around with vaccums and poke play also gotta make sure to go engarde when needed but not to waste it for a single kill purpose . It’s still a good class but only under those who knw how to play it well. A good nova is very hard to kill and most of the time u get killed chasing it

Lv17 is like 5% of a classes potential. Like someone said, 56 you start to unlock most potential. At 61 you have the full potential. Lahn is extremly mobile.

When they ask to remove item destruction or upgrade loss for failed attempt it's because they don't understand how important it's to recycle items in an MMORPG, otherwise the game will get clogged with older items to that point it mess up the game economy as time moves on

My unpopular opinion, especially amongst elitist streamers: +15 should have remained the cap. Doing PEN and Caphras just made the system reliant on gear, not skill.

Part of why I quit but I always love to still watch the pvp vids because there satisfying and I remember all the fun I had in pvp but I will never redownload BDO again even if it has everything I want in a game.

So generally I do not pvp in games. And of the now 6 times Players have attacked me. Twice i was basically already dead at 20% hp from mobs. twice i was either afk, looking at the pearl shop, or just not paying any attention and they just stunned and one shot me. And twice they attacked me well i was grinding exp and i kicked their butts. But I guess whats the point of pvp when i killed the people twice I didn't get anything. And no matter what each time i'm losing potions, time, and energy. Whats the benefit? And those times when people pulled off underhanded kills are they penalized or what? Generally I don't see people do much pvp in the game.

There Should be no Super Armor Grab grab should be a gamble and not every class that comes out needs a Grab why does Sage have a Grab? Of the last 8 Classes that came out only 2 didnt have a grab and those two were Shai and Archer.
