They just got me to spend $2800 for a 3 antenna setup just to pass this. I was told it would make me $61 a day instead it’s made me $8 in a week ! I am turning to my local Attorney General to sue them for fraud and local legal council. HIP 113 burned people just like helium burned people before. So now I am stuck with 3 antennas that are giving me 1 count them 1 effing hex?! All radios approved and they have made an average of 1.2k mobile per day instead of the 100k or so mobile a day and many many hexes in my area!

How about we move the boosted rewards hexes outside of Miami? Miami was where Helium Mobile was launched, so it makes sense to add boosted hexes there, but now the network has grown pretty much everywhere. But instead they are worried about people “gaming the network” by spoofing their locations.

Wow, I got into helium at exactly the wrong time... So, I already make dogshit with my cbrs radio, and I barely rake in any iot. Someone in my area was making $200,000 (yes dollars) a year, and I was like whoa look at that radio, and i jumped the gun, now I make like 2 dollars a day. I will never recoup my losses. I only hope there is another company that will come along that we can use to migrate the equipment to, and onboard the wallets to their blockchain.

I had to keep adjusting my radio to make more. It's a lot of trail and error. But also voting against these HIPs will also help you. There's a fee people with a mission to do away with CBRS (which I disagree with). What type of set up do you have?

My setup is a baicells 430i, with a freedomfi miner, and I just found out that my best coverage was to be pointed toward footfall near me, but when I bought my equipment the coverage planner did not show footfall. This is the reason why I waited before I invested any additional money besides my initials CBRS radios when they first launched two years ago. they constantly change the rules as the game is being played. They should have grandfathered people in from a certain date and said this is going forward, and now I’m really debating on just selling all of the Wi-Fi radios that I purchased instead of the deploying them. I also wonder why xnet is able to use them, but helium is not.

We got in very early with CBRS. We were mining IOT and as soon as CBRS became available we bought two. We did Genesis etc. So I can not complain. I wonder if it is the license fee for CBRS they do not want to pay? If Xnet is launching CBRS, then it seams CBRS has utility and works. I know this is a month old, but as a heads up with making a business out of Hivemapper, both of my cameras died (one after 12 days and one after 4) and it took 1-2 months to get them back. This is a joke, I invested 20k in 2022 to be the first residential CBRS install via Ontech, 3 outdoor freedom Fi. During Genesis period I was making 250k Mobile per day. So that was good, but now that helium mobile is launched. My units only earn 2.5-3k a day!! This setup was supposed to last at least 5 years. Kinda disappointed to be honest

I've deployed CRBS as well as Wifi Hotspots. My earnings will be about a wash with this. To be honest, I'm more concerned with CBRS that are earning 10-100x in hexes that are boosted. NOVA is paying to boost hexes where they would like coverage for customers data to get offloaded. CBRS dont do that, so they shouldn't get those rewards. I believe in the CBRS vision, and am sad we're losing our earnings with that, but that can always change in the future. I don't see that happening (chicken and egg, who wants to pay for CBRS access when there aren't any deployments?), but who knows.

Also, the HIP DOES show how the calculation works. Very clearly. CBRS earnings are reduced by 75%. But that 75% is taken out of the total coverage points. Think of it like this: CBRS current earns 100 points, wifi earns 50. Total is 150 points. CBRS gets reduced by 75%, now earns 25 points, while Wifi still earns 50. Total points is now 75 points. Now instead of earning 100/150, CBRS is earning 25/75. Coverage points =/ MOBILE earnings. That new ratio is now how the MOBILE distribution is determined. So if my CBRS was earning $1000/week before, it is now earning $500/week. In the case of this HIP, my CBRS will go from $1000/week to $423/week. As per the formula clearly shown in the HIP.

CBRS has been getting waaay to much rewards comparable to WiFi and it doesn't even provide viable coverage (3+ years away probably). I would understand your frustration if you just bought your CBRS, but you've already probably made 3X ROI on CBRS. Time to incentivize people to deploy WIFI's and grow this network! Try and look past your greed, lower CBRS rewards 75% and move that to WIFI. Your main concern is funding your film making, the HIP proposer's is the long term success of the network.
