Are you working as an LPN in Ontario? Did you apply for RN eligibility when you applied for RPN? If yes.. then you can do the AHPRA process and ask them to send documents to CNO.

In my portal, i can show initial RN applications effective since mid December . So, i have to wait for any confirmation mail of eligibility from them? And how much time they take for give eligibility?

Hi Hiral, I would say call them and ask for further process. As if your application is approved, then you must be eligible for a conditional license and exam. So I would say better call them than waiting..😊

Hi! I’ve some queries. Please help. NSCN emailed me saying I’m eligible for registration and licensure. The license fee is $570. I am an international nurse, I’m not sure if I’m moving to Canada anytime soon. If i pay for the license fee now. Do I have to pay the amount every year, even if I’m not residing or practicing in Canada? It’s a big amount of money for me. If don’t pay it right now, Do i need to go through all processing again in the future? If somebody got any idea, please explain it to me. I’m in so much dilemma. Shall i pay the fee and get license or wait for sometime until i figure out.

Yes, if you get a license now, you need to maintain it every year. First figure out I would say.

Once you transfer and meet other requirements such as jurisprudence exam, police check, language requirement etc, you will get license and then you can start working as RN. You can contact NSCN via email or phone if you are confuse with any steps.

Hello, Foe process this 2 videos explains pretty much everything. If you want to work in Nova scotia start Nova scotia process. If Ontario or other province start NNAS process. You don't need to wait for your course to complete. You can start your application now.

Hi Pret. Conditional license is easy to get. Pay is the same as the general RN. And I don't think WES is required.

Hello, which province you want to work. Most of province require NNAS. So, you need that. After that ask AHPRA to send your result to regulatory body. I hope it helps. If not please elaborate more. Like where you want to work etc. I have made NNAS detailed video so it might help you.

If you don't have experience back home then your report can be non comparable. Yes you can apply to nova scotia if you want to work there. If not you can try AHPRA or USA nursing and write your exam and transfer your license.
