Nova trans leak update, clogged vent tube, carb fixes itself...

Just a quick update on a few things I've been working on.

My 200r4 , was rebuilt two years now and I finally found the root cause of the problem. I’ll be pulling that vent tube out tomorrow, thanks for the advice and great video. I’ll keep you guys updated on my results.

I think this is the only video that mentions anything on this issue. My truck has been sitting for a while so could be clogged. Just put another kicker motor in it and really had a hard time moving. Would to much pressure do that. I don’t know. I’m going to give this a shot. Sounds cheap to do. Lol.

My 1966 F100 C4 transmission was pushing the dipstick out also, so I tried what you did with the vent tube on the transmission. A little bit of debris came out and, amazingly that worked, no more problem.

I have a 350 turbo pushing out the dip stick also

My 85 Camaro is pushing fluid out the dipstick tube as well

Jacked my 72 Monte Carlo TH350 trans up to mate the motor to it and I think I pinched the vent tube shut. Smashed it, I guess...

You're probably going have to either remove or replace it. Otherwise you'll build up too much pressure and it will likely push out the dipstick tube.

Same thing happened to me few days ago.. my car was smoking and my mechanic told me transmission fluid was shooting out of vent. He checked it ans whatever he did , it stopped.

Wat could be the problem only when you put your 700r4 transmission to pour fluid at the pan gasket only when in reverse

Im having that problem when I get on it it pukes from the breather can it be a bad converter 5.3 ls to a built th400 2500 stall happens when I hit 80 mph

I just finished rebuilding my th350 and have it in the car. I have an issue with tranny fluid pushing out the tranny dip stick. After diagnosing the problem I blew air into the dip stick to check the that the breather vent isn't blocked in any way. I removed the vent tube and found that the passage way to the breather vent cap doesn't vent. So the tranny is building up pressure and blowing out the fluid through the dip stick tube. I followed all steps when rebuilding and can't figure out what the blocked is caused from. Anyone have any ideas before I pull the tranny from the car and take it apart again. Thanks for your help

If you have oil coming out of the breather on the trans you likely have too much fluid in it. It could be something else going on too though
