I imagine that if humans had tails, tail gestures would be a thing in the same way that arm gestures (and posture in general) is a thing: it's not a _part_ of whatever you're saying (strictly speaking) but it adds _expression_ to them all the same.

awesome avatars! are you only using the Pico 4 Pro for eye tracking in this video? how does the face tracking compare to the vive face tracker?

Vive face tracker still is the best lip tracking solution, quest pro is getting there, but there is still some quirks. Pico 4 Pro lip tracking is good enough if you have an "appropriate" face. Depending on your face shape you might block the lip tracking camera, and then the lip tracking doesn't work properly.

You can use its original mount, and a lot of tape. You will also need a USB c Hub with power delivery and Virtual Here to transmit the data wireless@@DeanRavencrest

I have the vice face tracker, how do you make it compatible with the quest though?

Vive face tracker works on PC. So you can either run a cable directly to PC or use a USB hub on quest and Virtual Here to send data wirelessly.

Heya! I just currently bought the pico 4 pro and struggling a little bit with it, what fbt are you using cause im using the 2.0 vive trackers and they dont seem to be working very well with it, also every time i turn on ovr or ovr tools theh seem to turn my controlers into vive controllers and theb i cant seem to move in vrc, if you could help it would be super! 😄

This started happening with the latest Steam VR update. Make sure you have your Pico Connect on the latest version, it should have been fixed already.

Yes, if the avatar is ported to Quest the animations and facetracking can be seen by quest users.

Pico 4 pro only supports facetracking when using as a PCVR headset. VRChat does not support standalone facetracking.

How is the Pico 4 pro? I looked for some reviews but couldn't find much on it. I'd be comparing it to the Quest 3, hell if it's marginally better I might just sell it and get the Pico lol

Well, all you get with Quest 3 that is better than Pico is the warranty. Pico 4 pro is better or the same in all other aspects and also has face tracking.
