A Serbo-Croatian phrase "Ne pravi se englez" springs to mind. It translates literally to "Don't pretend to be English" meaning: why are you lying or being a hypocrite and a cheat. You say it to someone who is so blatantly lying it is obvious. For people who take a moral high ground, pretend to be naive and do not understand when they are the ones who lie and do wrong. Google it.
The phrase means "Don't pretend that you're naive/that you don't understand what is going on"

@@patriciawalker3322I think what he did in this situation was not very smart. He let the crowd know that what they did got to him, which provides an incentive for them to keep doing, it if they really dislike him. It’s nothing but human to turn around and give the bird to all those who were clearly hoping he would lose. However, i don’t think he achieved nothing but giving them satisfaction for having irritated him.

Love the fact that he responds exactly the right way to BBC goons. That interviewer couldn't wait to tuck in to what he thought would be a grilling. This is typical BBC behaviour, and it's shameful that these people are paid as public servants. Totally misread Novak here, he knew what he was doing, is on solid ground and would do the same 100 out of 100 times, and rightly so. They are just used to people not as strong as him who want their approval. They will never learn. GO NOVAK, HERO

Because BBC interviewers are instructed to ask emotionally-loaded questions to piss you off and then try to paint you in a bad light. They are hoping to get Novak to lash out there and start cussing. Which is why every single question began with "how do you feel", trying to provoke a negative emotion to distract the interviewee from his common sense and reason. Unfortunately, the GOAT doesn't fall for such childish games.
