The negative enviroment and crowed against him is done by himself, the crowed don't go in to dislike novak, but his atics at tims and arrogant looks towards the crowed is what they don't like. If he just put his head down no one would dislike him.
@dmateo22

@@jonm2522 That's not the case. Many players have flare, enthusiasm and highly expressive reactions when playing tennis. Seldom is Novak arrogant on or off court. "If he just put his head down" is such a slap in the face to the G.O.A.T. The crowd definitely goes in with dislike at times, which makes it all the more satisfying when he is able to overcome his opponent and the partisan crowd.

It's true. Djoko has more fans in Asia than Nadal and Federer and also in Russia and Eastern Europe. Rafa owns Southern Europe and all of Central and South America while Federer has more fans in Western Europe and the US. But because the Western media is the world's dominate media at the moment it APPEARS like he has more fans but in reality he doesn't. That is the truth.

Fed still the goat of tennis. Djokovic is lucky that he is 6 years younger, because Roger would destroyed him like he destroyed Marat Safin and 45 years old Agassi. If he didn’t exit his prime at 23rd birthday he would have over 30 slams now. Djokovic will never be a goat because he doesn’t have that mental toughness and winning instinct Roger has. Roger, Jordan and Kobe Bryant are born winner and Djokovic is media hype and weak era champ who always chocke against his 2 biggest rivals. Djokovic will never win slam against Roger anymore. He should focus on atp250 tournament and filming commercials, because in tennis he can win slams only against all time great Marin Cilic

the amount of disrespect Djokovic gets from crowds baffles me... its borderline insulting to one of the greatest (if not THE greatest) tennis players of all time. This is Tennis, not football. Facing such unfavorable and even pure hostile crowds and yet overcoming them + your opponent, makes Djokovic's achievements even GREATER. Fan favourites Roger and Nadal NEVER had to face such adversity and animosity during their matches. All they had to do was focus to beat their opponent. Having to win not just the mental/physical game with the guy on the other side of the net, but ALSO THE CROWD, speaks volumes about Djokovic's GREATNESS... Bravo Novak. Bravo. Screw those crowds. Djokovich didn't just beat Federer, he beat the entire crowd as well. He played about 80% of his best self and still managed to win. Federer's game is as good as it has ever been, better service, improved backhand, but still Djokovich still managed to come out on top. The G.O.A.T question has been answered now. This loss will haunt Federer for quite some time to come, and it will be forever be one of the most defining moments between them. Had two championship point, in the biggest grand slam finals of all time, and still couldn't close it out. This would be Djokovichs' most sweetest grand slam finals victory of all time, and likewise it would be Federers' most bitter grand slam finals lost in his entire career. I suspect Nole wouldn't have wanted to win it any other way. Down two championship points in the final set, against arguably one of the greatest player of all time. Djokovich triumphantly wins still. It couldn't have been scripted any better for him. Well done Djokovich. Well done indeed.

90% of the crowd was rooting for 2nd seed, he lost majority of Federer service games, was booed when he was clarifying a challenge, was 2 championship points down... but won all three of his sets in tiebreak 🙌 PURE respect for the number one seed for playing in the most challenging environment possible. CONGRATS DJOKOVIC!!!!

Mentally, Novak Djokovic is probably the toughest player I've ever seen. No other player knows how to get into the head of his opponent quite like Djokovic does. Notice how Goffin just collapsed, mentall, after Djokovic broke back, when the two met in the quarter final. And I've seen this happen sundry times.

lol? Djoko drops his bundle more than most of the top guys. Always calls for timeouts/goes off court to reset the momentum etc. There's a reason he's unpopular with most fans, he's always been the same.
