@@andrewcross8244 Federer is now past his prime and no longer a serious threat in majors. Nadal did suffer an injury and had to withdraw prior to the semifinals, but he is nowhere near the player on grass that he is on clay. The one player absent that probably would have been the biggest threat to Djokovic is Medvedev, but he is actually better on the hard courts than on grass.

@@dnangel4277 search your feelings, you know this to be true. During the time he was on his accent the Serbian war was going on or had just ended. For Djokovic, it was his imperative to help out in some way, and the only way would be to win a lot of money & help his people. Or if he didn’t want to help… he could still use it as good imagery from his psychology team to channel into a winning mindset lol

"He's had a really good run" - Took him 9 years to get to a GS final. For a player who's taughted as being one of the best grass court players, to this point he hasn't won 'a' (not a single) grass court tournament, not even a minor. He's won 6 hard court tournaments (best was a 500 series) which would suggest this is his best surface, but he hasn't even gone past the quarters in a hard court grand slam. Hate to break it to Kyrgios fans, but even Mark Philippoussis was more successful.

As an Aussie, I stayed up late to watch Nick take it up to one of the greatest - possibly the greatest - tennis players of all time. He was magnificent in defeat and will most certainly win a grand slam tournament in the near future now that he has tamed the inner beast. His serve was brilliant and some of the extended rallies were as exciting as it gets. I am sure I am not alone in willing Nick to become a great Aussie hero with all the qualities we admire.

This is such an underrated performance by both players. Nick was hitting 75% first serve at an average speed of 120 mph… that’s a match-winning stat. It’s a shame he had to come out against Novak… he would have beaten anyone else playing like this at Wimbledon. This match is a lot closer than the score line suggested and Novak showed immense qualities and mental strength to stay focus. Nick really had tried everything…

@@rf10is Well, kinda. A power serve has a drawback -- in a grand slam final, there are much greater strains on the 'nerves.' Nick was uptight before the match, managed to calm down for the first set, then started to get uptight in the second, and remained uptight the rest of the match. A power serve is a very forceful action, and everything has to 'gel' for it to work. I've seen numerous power serves get 'tight' in a big final such as Wimbledon, and their serve to lapse after a very good start. Nick served rather well overall, except he had a number of momentary serving lapses commencing the second set (being uptight). This gave Novak confidence he could put the pressure on the power server, rather than the other way around. Through the entire match, Novak had the mindset to weather the storm and come out the other side.

No dramas??? 😂😂😂Dude, did you watched that game actually??? He was arguing with the public whole the time and was jelling like idiot. His arogance made him to slow down and to lose concentration, he was amazing before he starteed to argue with everyone. He isn't "the bad guy in tennis" without reason. I'm very happy that Djokovic beat him these finals.

Can Nick grow up? He makes Australia look like it's still a penal colony and Kyrgios is an inmate tennis player. Maturity needed ASAP.

@@hristijandimitrovski8664 I said he'll competetive with experience and his maturity not his personal distraction. I specified that his skills and abilities to achieve towards winning. Talk about the skills and the game not his personal suff. Like his tennis on that day. That's it. NYC USA 🇺🇸

The best technician and most beautiful gameplay might belong to Federer, but Novak has a mental fortitude and a mindset that just might make him the greatest ever, soon enough.

That was SO routine for Djokovic. Kyrios has absolutely nothing that can challenge him. Djokovic talent level is just light years beyond Kyrios. The balance, the technique, the precision. No one can touch him. I will Say Kyrios' hands at the net are absolutely amazing for someone of his size. If he developed his game to come in more, rather than trying to grind with players more skilled and talented than him, he probably could push them more. No one can teach what Kyrios can do at the net. You can see Djoker has worked to no end on making his volleys good (they were not at the beginning of his career), but Kyrios just has the feel
