It pains me to no words to see the suffering of the Palestinian people and the horrible injustice committed against them, but I do believe that their fight goes beyond their own liberation, what we see today around the world is an incredible awakening of the people regarding the hypocrisy of the western world and the fragility and un sustainability of it . Your guest could be describing Apartheid South Africa in the 70s when arguing that Israeli state has started the process of collapse. South Africa was preeminent at its pinnacle in 1976 after acquiring nuclear weapons. To all appearance, It was invincible and apartheid would never be defeated. Powerful leaders like President Reagan and Prime minister Margaret Thatcher were steadfastly supporting apartheid South Africa. Soon after Cuban forces exposed the the weakness of apartheid forces when the latter invaded Angola. In less than 15 years apartheid system fell.
