I still remember when my dad was diagnosed with this. Hopefully technology has come a long way since he had it back in 2007 and unfortunately passed away in 2009. Hopefully they have better treatment than back then and I hope you beat this.

My husband was recently diagnosed with MDS. He is 82. He is going through treatment now. He is handling it better than I am. I hate that he is going through this. We would love to see a cure for MDS! I pray his treatments work. I love him so much.

I have MDS also IM 63 and was diagnosis at age 60 . l Iive day to day and hope for a cure .gratefull for every day !

I’m in the same boat and just recently got diagnosed at 45. I should be going in for a trial transplant soon! It is very scary and can relate to all the feelings, thoughts and emotions! Thanks for sharing your story!

I was recently diagnosed with CCUS and a TP53 gene mutation. The path from here is USUALLY MDS and likely AML. I am a recently retired Nurse Practitioner and my wife is an orthopaedic OR nurse. Wishing you well. I will follow you to receive and offer support. Best Wishes. Gary

My father has MDS, does that mean he has cancer?

Yes, Mds is a form of cancer. My husband has had MDS since 2013. He is transfusion dependent. Push for a lot answers. I have watched a lot of videos.
