So I had my MPC and commented on another video the other day. Today was my first day of actually trying to get something going on the MPC One. Remember, I am a COMPLETE beginner to this stuff, but have been playing bass and guitar for over 40 years professionally. Anyway, this video is MUCH better than the one's AKAI puts out for starting! I could not get anywhere with theirs. I got yours going, took my time with it, and got a 99% accurate copy of the demo you did in the video. I'm blown away. I don't know how long it takes a noob to catch on where this is second nature like it is with you, but I am stoked! I just wanted to pass along a HUGE thank you, and I am going to get your name to some people in the industry. Like I said, I am a pro. I know many pros, but am not going to be tacky and name drop. All I can say is that with things the way they are in the world with covid and stuff - a lot of us are going outside our comfort zones during this time and working with modern technology since it is good for the brain, as well as being a great way to just be able to get ideas and such down without anyone else. Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos. They are beyond helpful, Matthew!

Click lower right on export select the USB or SD and select the Expansions you want to export and then again lower Right corner click on expansions. The computer will then display the software working to export. I suggest just let the computer do the export and do not do anything else on the computer. Hope this helps everyone.

Matt..."Thank You!" I haven't even made it into the first 3 minutes and your humble attitude has made me a fan. This is how videos should be taught when it comes to new devices where all one needs is just a few tips on getting started. I agree with your comments on how some folks an be jerks, premadonnas. Not ar all appealing. So the simplicity helps everyone learn. Now when a person ges better its beause they've learned the foundational steps, then they graduate. And of course with time and work, everyone gets better. No one's a master at everything, so time builds progress and hopefully helps that person teach the next person. Thank you Matt!!! You're a rare find, your approach is valuable for those who understand that cussin' and fussin' through a video is a HUGE turnoff. Blessings brother.

I figured I should elaborate on my "VERY HELPFUL" comment... 4 days in with my MPC One and THIS VIDEO helped beyond turning it on. I definitely said "Now what!?!?" after powering it on and this video helped alot. I'm not a MIDI or MPC knowledgeable beat maker and this was just what I needed to get started. More to learn, but this was a must needed video to get started.

Your vibe is super positive and you explain stuff clear and easy to understand. Great job..I just had an mpc32 arrive in the mail today. I am aware the basic system is the same as the one so this vid had me up and going thanks.

EILI5 is such a helpful approach when you are starting from scratch. I've found Akai's own installation, setup and getting started very poor so your tutorials are a huge value to me, thank you.

Yo Matthew, you're the 1st guy who actually made a beginners tutorial for sequencing tracks on the MPC One, basic enough to be understand by beginners throughout the entire process! I've watched dozens of "so called beginners tutorials" but they fail to realize that a true beginner doesn't know what they know, and the information is not understood! The only thing you left out was how to save your work at the end! Truly I'm impressed, so I'm subscribing! Honestly man, you deserve a MEDAL!! Great job!

Thanks. Yeah, I made some other videos for saving and deleting files after I made this video. Thanks for the comment!
