loop length clip control for 8 trackclips at the same time would be nice,.. for a Performance live recording Mode . ... controlling longer clips skip thrue , play different parts loop this parts...thx.....

Guess I will sell my xone k2 (while I can’t write a script for it) and Push 1 and switch to a launch control and launchpad mini. Great support for these devices.

The scale can be set in the normal play mode with the Cursor keys and in the document settings (which can be found in the drop down dialog from the main Bitwig 5 window title).

Hi, can you turn the K-board into a sequencer like what you did with the pads in the Launchkey mini? Also, for Launchkey: can you make possible to press the white keys and then you see all the step marked? It's mean, like when you press shift in the upper left the Launchkey. It would be nice. Also to make possible if you haven't that it can fallow when you have 32 steps. Thanks to you I won't be using Maschine, I get good results with that. I bought Bitwig already.

Wie steuert man die looplänge eines Clips? Wie hast du es geschafft die looplänge über midi zu steuern? Ich finde nirgends dazu ein tutorial. Und über midilearn von bitwig habe ich das nicht zustande bekommen.

Über MIDI geht das nicht. Man muss das Bitwig API verwenden und eine Erweiterung programmieren.

Hey can I use multiple novation launch pad controllers with multiple scripts? I already use the script with launchpad x. Thinking about picking up a launchpad mini to give my self 64 extra switches and I want to use with your script. So I will have a mossgraber script for the x and a mossgraber script for the mini both in bitwig running concurrently Will this work? Thanks

Thank you again for doing all this, would it be an idea to do showPopupNotifications when selecting for example the beat repeat to show the user of it's 1/16 1/32 etc or other functions selected?

@@creatingspacesproducer No, since Bitwig still has this limitation to only show a maximum of 8 parameters per page. But you can combine Project, Track and Device parameters.

Hello! Thank you for supporting awesome hardware with your awesome scripts. I am wondering if you can clarify something for me. Im concidering purchasing the Launchpad Pro MK3 for my bitwig setup, but i also sometimes use hardware instruments where i would like to use the onboard sequencer on the Launchpad. Do you know if those are accessable while using it in bitwig?

Not with my implementation, since I need to use programming mode which deactivates all hardware features (but there are plenty of sequencers in it as well). Not sure about the Bitwig stock implementation. But you can always configure it as a Generic device in Bitwig if you only want to use the hardware features of the Launchpad.

I tried to comment earlier but i think youtube deleted the comment. Idea for implementation on controllers witch have 64 pads of some sort. I saw a finger drummer who used the Launchpad with a mirrored setup 4col x 8 times 2 where the sides mirrored one another. just like the hand with thumbs pointing in. that would be a super awesome thing to have access to with your script because the pads are small, but after testing the setup i like it much more than maschine drumming actually. it feels more ergonomic and right. + the two hands become free to do whatever they want. + another good side to having mirrored notes is that you dont have to have duplicates of samples or drum instruments and then make sure everything syncs or to do some fancy routing Actually the only thing keeping me from your script on that device. All others i do use the awesome scripts. You could for example have it as one of the note modes or something :) The way i set it up in Novation Components is bottom right and left is c1, then they go so the two middle bottom row is d#1 etc

Oh, I can not open the new Custom mode (Loop length). I did manage to open it once, but now I can not, and I have tried restarting everything. (And yes, I have a clip selected first.)

I fixed the fader smoothing. At least I hope so because it is a timing issue and it seems that setting the USER parameters takes longer than the normal ones. Hope that it works on all systems...

I mentioned some random response delays while using launchpad x with bitwig. For example, if I put a note in sequencer from the launchpad, it could appear immediately or after ≈ 0.1-0.2 seconds. Is something wrong with my setup? Or it’s just normal behavior for midi controller? I’ve checked ableton which natively supports launchap x, and there isn’t any issue like that

I cannot confirm that I noticed something like this but in general Bitwigs first priority is to have uninterrupted audio. Interaction with a controller has a lower priority and are processed "when there is time". So, it depends on you computer, setup and how heavy the current project is.

@@ucheattoh Yes, that's how it works. Since you need to deactivate the MIDI-in/outs in Reaper to use DrivenByMoss you cannot use the normal Reaper MIDI learn.

hi, thank you for your work.I´m using the 18.01 version which work very well despite some minimal bugs. But, the new upgrade crash my system (Reaper/windows) in diferent ways, like when I try to arm to rec a track. I use Maschine jam and Novation sl mk3 mainly. Where I can send the bugs I found if you are interesting.sorry for my inglish. And many many thanks for your develope, which are change completly my workfolw.
