Novecel F07 Nitrogen Cell Phone Glass Only Repair

Hey Guys! I just received a new machine made by a company called Novecel, which uses liquid nitrogen and a vacuum pump to create a cold surface that makes the loca glue between the glass and the LCD on cell phones brittle, making it lots easier to do glass only repairs on those expensive devices where it's cheaper to do that, VS replacing the entire assembly. This video was my first time ever using the machine, and I thought it would be a more "real life" feel of what you could expect if you decide to get this machine. In the video I mention that the silencer on the back was a 1/2", but it was actually a 1/4" silencer. I am including a link to show which one I bought on ebay, and it was perfect. Also, sorry that the light was in the way for a period of time, but I quickly realized it was blocking the camera and fixed it...just be patient!! lol. I am definitely no KZbin video upload king, by any means!

The popping sound you hear is the glue separating from the LCD it's really hard and explodes pretty much

Jeremy Miller hi jeremy ，in fact i never tried note 8 with this freezer , when note 8 came we already had electrical one -180 , that 's why i never tried , but i think it works , it just requirs low temperature , and the nitrogeon frezeer can reach it , so i think it works .

Jeremy Miller electrical one , i dont recommend cheap one ,it has to be good quality. If not , you would have a lot of headache in the future .

Hey bro, I have one more question! I was wondering how long liquid nitrogen lasts you. Mine went quick!!! Also with the ic glue does it leave the screen with imprints of the frame on the screen?

My nitrogen typically last a month and a half, and unfortunately yes, I do see the frame in the background imprinted

Hey man, just bought this. I've seen it done on the freezers without LN2 with the chassis attached as you did. They do 90 seconds at -175. Where did you learn -140 at 3 minutes? Some people on youtube do only 10 seconds with much less satisfying results.

Jørgen Hvalby I wrote novecel and told them the machine I had and the model of the phone, and that’s what the guy there recommended. Each phone is different so its always best to just write them and ask them. Can’t really remember the email right off hand, but they have actually commented on my video and you may be able to just write them on here? You are going to love the machine. Works great! Wish I could afford one of the freezers that doesn’t require the nitrogen though. Gets a little pricey sometimes

@@758Redwhulf I dread the thought of having bought a $1500 freeze machine to find it has a leak or the compressor dies. The gas in the cooler system on these machines is patented by the Chinese and not possible to re fill in our part of the world.

RNX - Servicios Gsm I have never used it with the note 8, but the phone I was using in the video was an s8 plus. I just commented to novecell to please respond back to your comment. If I had to guess, it should work perfectly fine on both of the devices you are talking about. There's plenty of room for it to lay on the plate on top.

You should use Loca Tape and buy an air compressor for bubble removal it will save you time and heacache free, it will move you away from hobbyist to potential business.

The glue has too much room for error and takes too long to make it viable for a business, all manfuacturers use loca tape. blog.rewatechnology.com/oca-film-all-you-want-to-know/

Bro, can you send me the info they sent you on time and temperatures. I have the same machine and I’m doing a note 9 and the glass didn’t come off that easy. Did I not wait Long enough?

Not really sure? I do know that different devices require different times and temperatures. They never sent me a “list” really... I just wrote novecel customer support and asked about each particular phone and they always responded back with their answer. I always wondered why they didn’t just post times and temperatures? I believe they also have a KZbin channel because they have previously commented on my video. U may be able to just message them on KZbin?

Jeremy Miller thanks for the quick reply. Yeah I wrote jiutu and novecel. They both gave me similar times and temps. I didn’t leave the phone on the plate long enough. Btw if you ever fix a note make sure you’re at -150 for 2 to 3 minutes

Mustafa Sabeeh sorry about that. To be honest with you, I was so worked up in the whole process that I really kind of forgot to record as much as I want it to haha. My wife was waiting to get her phone back and I was trying to hurry up, but also trying to make it look good at the same time haha. That was actually the first time that I have ever had to use the Loca glue, as well as using the UV light to cure it and everything. It really wasn't that bad. Maybe next time I will record the entire thing.

Rory Boyes nothing went wrong. I only thought the screen was cracked, but it was fine! I actually have to do the exact same phone again lol. Kids constantly demolishing things. Haha.
