I actually like that she doesn't try to be as heavy as possible all the time. Camille brings a certain "girly" energy with her, like at 2:51, I'm happy to see the band let her explore, and which I think provides an interesting contrast to the heavier parts. Kind of like the general contrast between harsh vocals and cleans in a lot of songs.

Her screams need to grow on me a bit. The instrumental is sick that solo is fire and I actually really enjoyed the clean melodic outro that was a nice touch. Looking forward to what comes next from them! \m/

I liked "turn it up" but this is even better, loving the new sound with a Camille, I think it's refreshing. Flo is absolute fucking quality, sick riffs

She shows her own "uniqueness" in this song and visual. To me, I see confidence and overall enjoyment. It's definitely a nice refresher. "Turn It Up" is great too.

Quite literally my least favourite part of the track. It's as cringey as the "System Failure" part, on their last album. I adore Novelists, and enjoy all of their tracks, to a degree, but.... I just can't with the cringey little callouts.

As most have already said, her screams are a bit one note. They're growing on me, but she's a much better clean vocalist. I'm not a huge fan of the more accessible (i.e POP) direction they have taken, as of late, but.... That being said, I do enjoy both tracks, and listen to them reasonably often. We'll see what the rest of the album has in store.

Coming out with a more palatable single is the best thing a metal band can do. Slipknot did this with Wait and Bleed, its the track that the vast majority of fans got drawn in by. And bands continue to do this today, it can only do good things for the band. Spiritbox does the same shit, they'll release a pop track, then its GOTCHA back to death metal.

Crazy how much shit novelists are getting for this... Amongst an absolutely SATURATED genre they've come through with one of the freshest things we're probably going to hear for some time. Can't wait to see how these dudes utilise such a strong vocalist

Hi, It would be cool if you check out The NEW deathcore band Face Yourself! Their singer is also a female and her name is Yasmine! She has similar screams to Will Ramos and Chaney Crabb of Entheos (Another Vocal Beast). She has been compared to many "Deathcore Male Singers" and even named as "The female Will Ramos" by Metal fans. I suggest "Guillotine" since this is one of their most recent songs with "Sirens" Because they are brutal and Yasmine sounds like a real banshee/goblin of the Lord of the Rings in trilogy!🔥

Sorry to say but the shouts are not even to close to what they were with the old singer.....Her clear vocals are nice but girl, please stop shouting.... If u wanna make heavy music get a new shouter I beg...

Heavy isn't the word I would use. I'd use confused musically it's just ripping off other bands and vocally she's just a pop singer that doesn't fit with the generic super derivative instrumentals.
