President John F. Kennedy’s remarks upon signing a contract between the Agency for International Development (AID) and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) to establish electrification projects in underdeveloped countries.
The President spoke in his office at the White House following the signing of the contract by Mr. Fowler, Mr. Ellis, and R. A. Yarbrough, President of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.
