Please help with question 11 because every time I measure the radius I get 4.9 and not five and 3.9 instead of 4. Even on the website for your solutions it isn't measured exactly 5 or 4. Please could you check that? I feel like the diagram has been drawn wrong then.

The actual exam papers when printed had radius of 4 and 5. Don't worry if when you print it comes out slightly smaller. The important thing is that you understand the method.

because, 1.0446 is the multiplier, if you add 4.469... to 100 and then divide by 100 it equals 1.04469... (4.469... is simply the percentage you add on to 100 and then divide to find the multiplier, therefore you can recognise that the percentage would be 4.469...) I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense, it makes sense in my complex mind? :)

question 13. b all my workings were right until the final answer 4.469...... why the 1 is not counted before .0469...?

Because the 1 represents 100% and the numbers after it represent the increase. In this case the increase was 4.5%
