I feel you. The way to beat Altergeist is that you have to basically get them to expend their backrow early so they don't have it as follow-up to keep spamming the Multifaker on you. Multifaker is the key card in the deck and how the deck generates any advantage and if you don't shut down Altergeists early, the deck is basically unkillable. That being said, I can sort of agree with you. Duel Links doesn't have much backrow removal, which is a good thing because backrow is the main form of player interaction in Duel Links so the last thing we need is "better backrow removal." Furthermore, most skills can play through backrow so backrow removal isn't something we particularly need right now. Might I ask you what your deck is? I have played over 10,000+ Altergeist games, I know the deck inside and out, and I know its good and bad matchups. Maybe I can offer you some tips on how your deck can deal with Altergeists? Or if not, sometimes you just have to accept your deck doesn't have a good matchup into backrow decks, namely Altergeists. Also, Silquitous spin is really hard to play through, so I can't blame you there.

Hi. I'm curous if you and Sean Matrai are the same?
@crimsonreaper529310 күн бұрын
I........don't even know how to answer this question, sorry. Sean Matrai (and by extension Steven_Freshy_) are both really good friends of mine that I work real closely with in the Duel Links community. I'm not sure what you mean by us "being the same" because I'll give it to you firsthand, Sean Matrai and I are different people and both of us make our own Duel Links content. Ergo, Sean Matrai is the Ritual Beast expert and I'm the Altergeist expert. Steven Freshy would be the Shiranui expert and so on. We are all masters of our own decks and provide content over those aforementioned decks so I'm still not sure what you mean by your question. In my case though, if you're looking for top tier Altergeist content, I'm your guy. I'm usually out here gathering top notch replays to post on my channel if you want to see how to pilot Altergeists. I'm also quite informative too especially since I've seen most players play badly on Altergeists so you just have to watch what I do and take notes accordingly based on my decision making. Hopefully this was good enough to answer your question, I answered it as best as I could. Welcome to my channel regardless though, I hope you enjoy your stay and learn how to Altergeist the way I play it. =)
