It's worth that price only on what is launched as base model but they should have given all safety tech which is a correct expectation. base model doesn't mean that you can miss tpms and hill hold assist

Ivtec engine with CVT gearbox is no less a charm to drive..no turbo lag..no head nods during gear changes...i dont think honda is missing out on anything by not offering turbo engine..Honda means reliability and they offer perfect balance between luxury and safety features..

Amaze got a 2 star rating in safety therefore Honda is forced to provide other basic safety features. We should remember Hyundai introduced 6 airbags in the base variant as their vehicle safety record was poor. This covered up for a 3 star rating for Creta.

My usage will be minimal, may be once or twice a week, so around 10K in a year, 60% in city and 40% on the highway. Could you recommend which is a better option for me. After seeing your videos I was looking forward for Kylaq signature AT which falls under my budget but it lacks few basic features like hill hold assist, and if I go beyond signature it becomes over budget.

Good analysis sir. According to me Honda needs to work on bringing wrv back with a 1.5 ivtec engine. Sure it will caniblise sales of Elevate but their portfolio will be increased and there will be more tough competition in sub 4 meter segment. Honda needs to work on fore and aft movement of front seats of elevate. In order to provide better back seat space they have compromised on fore and aft movement of front seats of elevate. Honda needs to introduce hybrid engine from the city in the Elevate. Honda needs to introduce ventilated seat in elevate. Honda needs to get amaze,city and elevate crash tested in global ncap or bharat ncap and Honda needs to work a lot on marketing of their cars. Skoda kylaq is a good product it is a mini kushaq in every sense but they need to work on the facelift of kushaq and add more features like adas 360 degree camera and 1 touch up and down for all the windows and a old trumpet horn. Kushaq definitely needs improvement in interior plastic quality Volkswagen also needs to work on launching tera compact suv as early as possible and even facelift of taigun

Creta is definitely the king in it's segment but we can't ignore the fact that Kia has a lot lesser sale points compared to Hyundai. So Seltos selling around 6k is pretty good when compared to 15-16k of Creta. They both should definitely work on their safety tho and if they have then they should get them crash tested as soon as possible.

I salute the move by Honda in providing value futures and omitting the sunroof. It is typical Honda way. The sunroof is an unwanted future when the country becomes an oven. ADAS, though not very useful now, will be helpful for someone who keeps the car for a long duration(which most of the typical Honda owners do). I wish VW also should follow the same path and pass the benefit to customers. At least a top variant without a sunroof should be available on an order basis. Amaze is a better VFM car than Dezire because of the availability of CVT over AMT. It is a 4-cylinder Vtec engine. In terms of looks, the simplicity of the design always wins over Dzire. Definitely, Amaze will grab some share of desire, but desire sales will be much higher because of the FE/CNG factor.

it’s a good car, but low sales and average service experience might be a challenge. You should consider XUV700 diesel MT, it’s a good car too plus more service reach. I understand the appeal of compass but the hard truth is it’s a failed product and you will always second guess your decision. If you can gulp these thoughts and challenges then go for compass else buy a car that’s selling well generally. P.S Speaking from my experience of getting a punto, Taigun and Jimny 😅

Person said of you book in next 3 days on table we will give best price below 10.70L. I'm not sure why 1 Lac discount upfront although I'm not exchanging. Suggest me what should be the reason so that it will be easier to negotiate further. Kia Sonet HTK 1.2 MT offering 10.74L on-road. On this price they are offering 25k discount only. Overall car market is still around precovid levels. I feel that unlike in US and China, cars in India are still not a go to option for household chores. Stores are very nearby our houses in India and a two wheeler remains the top household chore enabler. Majority still uses Cars for trips. Infrastructure is also an issue.
