When I say the EU will never continue has its own timeline.... look at other franchises... do they continue there non canon stories to anime, video games and Lord of the rings non canon stories like shadow of mordor thats what companies do rebranding legends is just a seal to let everyone know its over...... it also mirrors real life the real canon of a myth like the bible or official history gets a definitive Begin, Middle and End. Myths are always one of stories with no proper ending.... Star Wars visions is another reflection of that... Non canon stories that reflect different cultures that view history from there POV...
