What a brilliant tip about popping the piece in the freezer if a cookie is attached 🥰 such a beautiful kiln unload 💕

OH! I am so sorry I am replying so late. I totally missed your comment! YES, the freezer trick works for me 9 out of 10 times! Hope it works for you!...when you fire your 5/6 pieces!

Hey Audrey, your BC Girl cup looks awesome 😊. LOVE the eggplant, seaweed, and olive float! Question, did you take the eggplant right to the top?

Too funny Lisa...... I went to the comments and was going to ask the same question! 😁

Hahaha, well, the BC Girl is def a test. Really, THAT shape should be BC Boy, but WHAT-ever! Yes, I took the eggplant right to the top. I suspect the glaze would run a bit more on a bmix type clay. I used it on P340 which is groggier. Next time, I will try 370.

The floating blue by Spectrum breaks green? Very pretty glaze Audrey. Love your BC girl and does the root beer usually run? I haven't opened my pint of it yet. Thanks for sharing your work with us! 💙

Hi there, it's like the base of the FB glaze is green and the blue feature floats on top or settles in crevices. It's very beautiful. Yes, rootbeer runs. I actually didn't realize just how much. I think next time I will put one coat to the bottom and subsequent coats halfway down the area. Hope that helps. By all means, send a photo of your results with it. Thanks for your coent and compliment. Have a great day!

You've been a busy girl!! I am only firing on every other-ish saturday/sunday because of the cost of electricity here! congrats on a successful pinhold annihilation 😆, thanks for sharing your results. Question: do you program your whole firing in or just the slow cool part? I just started using a lightly speckled white stoneware and medium slow bisqued it, now I'm glazing and hope to fire Saturday or Sunday but I want to do the clow cool! I have a Genesis digital controller, would you mind outlining your firing schedule program? If you have time of course! Thanks Audrey

Thanks! I certainly don't mind passing on the schedule I used but I would prefer to send a photo of it because it's easier. I am not too sure if I can send through KZbin.
