Gardens like this are simply magical! 🌿🌞 It's amazing to see how the plants work harmoniously with the surrounding landscape. Visiting Hidcote seems to be a real source of inspiration. It's fantastic that such places are accessible to all and so lovingly maintained by the National Trust. I can imagine that walking through this garden is a very special experience every time. 🏞

Hi Serge et Helene. Thanks for taking a look. This is the latest in the year that we have visited this garden and we were surprised how much interest there still was. When we arrived in Cornwall though another health condition made us return early. Our cottage in Cornwall proved a little awkward for accessing medical assistance and we thought it was better to return to Nottingham where we have two major hospitals within four miles of home, one of which is walking distance. That new problem is now resolved and we are looking forward to a month in Germany and Austria over Christmas and New Year. Last week we had a major (for us) snowfall for the first time in several years - 5 inches (13 cm). We were better organised this time than usual and in any event it was all gone within three days. Sadly a Storm with heavy rain followed and there was quite a bit of flooding south of us which led to cancellation of another pre Christmas event we were going too. We are just hoping the weather is benign for our flights to Frankfurt. Hope you are both OK and enjoying the approach of Christmas.
@SergeCousineau5 күн бұрын
@ Sad that you had to return but glad that your problem was solved when back to Nottingham, not always evident being far ! Wow one month on the go …🤪 it will be fun in these two great countries . I see that people panic a bit with 2 inches of snow 🤪 …you will get used to it …Lol! 🤣 I do understand that this is not usual in your country 😉 On our side we haven’t had any snow yet 😢 but temperatures are starting to be below freezing point so it’s just a matter of time. I love snow with temperatures between -5 and -15 Celsius but not any colder 🥶 I haven’t start skiing ⛷️ but "Mont Saint-Sauveur " in the Laurentien (30 minutes from our house) is now open with artificial snow , I will probably wait for a bit of natural snow over it . We are both well and working hard to produce more greetings cards for our others Christmas markets coming this weekend and next week also . Wishing you both a great vacation trip and have fun! Cheers my friends 🍻

We too were really surprised that there was so much still to enjoy so late in the season. We were making our way down to Cornwall for our first proper trip of the year. Various issues had affected Rob`s mobility but finally we could get away. We were taking our time pausing at various places like Hidcote. Sadly we had to return early from Cornwall as another, entirely unrelated, issue struck Robert and several more hospital visits were necessary. Once again the issues resolved we are now setting our sights on a month in Germany & Austria for Christmas and the New Year. Thanks for watching. Best wishes once more.

Glad you like them. We too were surprised how much interest there was still in the garden. As we had done very little all year we were taking things slowly and stopping off regularly, even having an overnight stop. Sadly we had to come back mid week after a new medical problem arose and we thought it easier to get treatment in Nottingham. Where we were staying was a bit difficult and remote as regards medical access. Hopefully that is now behind us and we can get moving again. Having said that our short trip last weekend was halted by Storm Bert which caused events we were heading towards to be cancelled. End of next week though we fly to Germany for a month of wandering around. We cannot wait to get going once more. Hope you are still going strong and seeing and enjoying as much as possible. Old age comes along all too quickly. Best wishes Robert & Ivor.

Gruß Rainer Hi Ivor, I can't read the video description, but it seems to be a nice par again. Although I'm not so much in favor of this zooming, you made a good video. I always watch the videos in full length. The Like No. 46 is from me. Greetings Rainer
@IvorsTravels6 күн бұрын
Please find a translation of my comments about the video below. Hope this helps. You are right about the zooming. Too much in this video.
