I started on the You Version bible app. I love that I can listen to it and read along or just listen if I am unable to read on some days. Then I pop over to YT to hear Tara recap the versus. There is a whole bible and a new testament study version. This New Testament study will be completed in 30 days. So you could jump in now or wait till start of the year and do the whole bible in a year or maybe both. It is a spectacular study that helps tremendously with understanding the word!

Well…there ARE written records of God’s engagement with mankind. Plenty of Dead Sea Scroll documents and Jewish intertestamental writings. They just aren’t considered inspired Scripture.
