Well, I don't care what other people say. I say what I was seeing for the past 5 years. I also lost all my hair because of chemotherapy but luckily it's growing again and my cancer is gone! I was really sad when I heard I was going to lose my hair, but when I was going through it I realized that being bald wasn't even ugly (at least I think so). I was sadder about the fact that I lost my eyelashes cause I really like doing makeup and mascara is my most important thing to do. Now I'm the most sad about my weight cause I gained 18kg because of medication, and I'm still like that now.. I'm like the most insecure that I've ever been in my life! I can't lose the weight either cause I got a bone disease and I'm in a wheelchair now.

You seem SO MUCH happier now (and the past few months) than you ever have and that makes me SO HAPPY as well! I've been following you for YEARS and I'm just so glad you are able to be yourself and live your life the way you want to and the way you were meant to. It really does make me feel like there is always a chance to make a change and be true to who you are and I need that. Side note: I agree about the bare nails thing. I've been painting mine for soo long and one day I couldn't decide on a color and was like, "Fuck it I'm going bare" and for about 2 months I didn't paint them once. I recently put Essie's Sand Topez on because it's super nude and my nails have white marks all in them and I started a new job so I wanted my hands to look fresh. It's so refreshing to have clean nails and hands. Different marks in your natural nails can tell you a lot about your health too!

I like the curlers but do not like the straightener! I always have bumps and it doesn't make my hair very smooth/frizz free. I have long thick hair but it's normally not too hard to straighten because it's wavy.

+arrived001 the only things i'd say to watch out for is make sure what you want is what you want, because if you buy something with the coupon code it is final sale, and that's hidden way down in their terms and conditions. Also make an account with them when you make the purchase otherwise they won't send your email, and if it says your payment didn't go through then they probably charged you anyways so dont try and do it again. love their products but their website/customer service needs a lot of work.

I totally love how you talked about breaking the stereotype of natural nails. I am a painter and I never grow my nails long because it inhibits me from painting and drawing. I also rarely paint my nails because I just end up chipping it off or ruining it because I do so much with hands. Natural nails are feminine and beautiful just like painted nails. It's just a personal preference that has nothing to do with your sexuality :)

I had lost my hair twice to chemotherapy and transplant for Cancer and I never realized how big hair is a daily part of our being, and I lost myself and still finding myself without hair. It's a complex feeling and not just "oh it will grow out, it's just hair" doesn't help bcuz I've had it grow back but I don't feel the same. I love your recommendation, I will be definitely will be picking up the book asap.
