Hi, I am fairly new to your channel. I was just wondering where do you put your rent, energy bills (gas, water, electricity), council tax, home / content insurance? Is it on another account / spreadsheet?

Hi! ☺️ I’ve always just tracked whatever’s left to budget after rent and savings get taken out. My goal is to see areas where I might be overspending or could make changes to save more money so it’s never really benefitted me to put my rent in there. I moved back in with my parents last year so I just have a monthly amount I pay them to cover being here. Before that, I lived overseas so I didn’t have council tax, water rates etc. The only thing not covered by my rent was electricity so I just put that in with my other bills. I think I’m might make some changes next year, though 🤔
