Thanks again, God bless. Heading back to camp tonight for modern gun season. So far having a great crossbow season! Had 5 squirrels downloading one of my corn feeders so I decided to take a 22LR along with my crossbow to the stand. Over a four or five day period I harvested 2 deer 🦌 and 5 squirrels 🐿️, some on the same day within just an hour or two of each other. Made a great pot of squirrels 🐿️ stew for the first time, that everyone is enjoying. Have some very nice bucks on camera. Your tips are greatly appreciated.

I feel like that second hump is understated. I see a lot of activity a month or so after the core rut when most guys are tagged out or sitting at home where it is warm.

Rut in northeast MS doesn’t happen until the end of December or start of January.

That's interesting because here in central Arkansas the pre-rut has already already started. I've had two different people from the past 2 weeks show me videos from there stands of bucks chasing. I wonder why it's so different not being that far apart geographically?
