Nice list. My north by northwest arrived today. Im thinking of picking up another 4k version of bloodsport, only because i dont want to open the first one. I have to agree with you on deadpool and referenes to pop culture taking you out of movies. Sometimes i think that takes away from timelessness of a movie. I'll have to check out Arcane. Great video!

As always, We have very similar tastes and I picked up all the same. For 7Samurai, I picked up the imported from BFI that has DV mostly cause I already own the Criterion BR w same packaging. I didn’t pick up Deadpool cause I’m gonna grab it on Kscape and the pricing was a turn off.

Excellent. I went with Criterion for the sale. But curious if the BFI release is drastically different in video quality.

@@stillbluehometheater1056 I’ve seen a few reviews comparing both transfers and it’s a mixed bag. Some compliment the DV’s hue contrast improvement over the Criterion but also say that Criterion did more to correct source issues. So it’s like a 50/50 more about preferences. I do think the Big case BFI treatment is a plus but albeit at a cost. Can’t go wrong either way is my opinion.
