You have some pretty fabrics for your sewing projects. I would definitely check the fabric suggestions for the NL 6794. I purchased this pattern and noticed that the fabrics suggested were knit varied knits!!! No problem but I had purchase fabrics for the entire suit but noticed the jacket was a knit. Which was a surprise but still. I can’t wait to see your finished projects and I pray you feel better soon.😊🌹🌺🌼🧵🪡✂️

BRENDA!!!! I JUST noticed that yesterday 😩😫! I’m still going to cut out my muslin this week to see if it will fit. That’s so disappointing though because I can’t seem to find a good unlined blazer pattern that isn’t boxy. I’ve made a couple by Simplicity and I didn’t like the overall fit. Thank you so much! I’m a big fan of the patchwork too!! My diabetes initially came from gestational diabetes, but it didn’t go away after pregnancy. I worked at it through diet and exercise and then it left. Because it was gestational, I feel it was easier to beat because of the hormonal changes that eventually took place, but it was extremely difficult. It also runs on both sides of my family including type 1 and 2.

I'm doing , upcycling & making several things , i'm in search of a hard to find color zipper to add to my dress 👗, Joanns dont seem to have it , i'm also tempted to make a nice dress out of a pair of curtains for the next coming summer , sew much to get into , it can become over whelming at times 😂

Hi there, I would consider reducing your seam allowance from 5/8 to 1/2 on the blazer just to give yourself an additional 1/2 inch of breathing room in the bust.

Hi Talisha! Excited to see your makes! Just as an FYI - I made the pants to NL 6794. Very disappointed on the pants. I tend to have a longer waist/crotch area. For the pants, I used a size 18 - which should have fit . . . but they did not. It was too short in the crotch and the back waist was so much lower than the front waist when I tried it on. It was a true "wadder" that I have to throw away. lol . . . and I used my good fabric on this too! Hoping the jacket from the pattern is perfect for you and is a great success!!!

WAIT! The last part you were sharing is VERY interesting. Can you make a video on how you were able to sew 14 patterns in 10 days? You have a family and a job! Please consider sharing what steps you took and how you decided what to sew and when to sew? Was there a particular order? Did you cut everything out first? Or did you just jump in and get it done? I am fairly new to sewing and am always looking to improve my process.
