Novi Sad Serbia Christmas Markets 2021 & Ice Skating on Christmas Eve! 🇷🇸

We FINALLY made it to Novi Sad! What a beautiful city, incredible buildings that are all different colours. After walking around the markets and the city centre we stumbled onto the coolest ice rink we've skated on. Definitely one of the best Christmas Eve's we've experienced!!

3:47 355 000 people. Novi Sad is second fastest growing city in Serbia, it overtakes Nis in second place by population. From 1991. up to 2021. population of Novi Sad jumps from 177 000 to 355 000 people. Novi Sad overtakes Nis(around 270 000 people) by population. In Serbia, we count Pristina as serbian city too. Pristinas population raices fastest then population fo Novi Sad. From something like 100 000 people 1991., up to over 500 000 people 2021. 50% of new residents was from rest of Kosovo and from Macedonia. 50% was newcomers from Albania. Belgrade is third fastest growing city. The most newcomers in Novi Sad was from Croatia and Bosnia, mostly Serbs. Also Kosovo. The most newcomers in Belgrade was from Montenegro earlier and in latest times from Bosnia and Kosovo. Nis, earlier people from Montenegro, in latest times from from kosovo. Also, big percentage of new population of NS, BG and Nis comes from the rest of central Serbia. Around 40% of BG population was people from montenegro, montenegrian Serbs, 25% bosnian Serbs(mostly from part of Bosnia called Hertzegovina) and rest from Kosovo and central Serbia + other former republics of SFRY + BG gypsies and gypsies from other republics and southern part of central Serbia. I do not know numbers for NS and Nis, but NS, big partion of residents was from Croatia and Bosnia, also Kosovo and Montenegro, around 15% of Hungarians, rest are Slovaks, Romanians, Gypsies.

UN do not recognises Kosovo as a country (by international law it means, Kosovo isnt a country), PR China, India, Brasil, Indoensia, Russia, Argentina, Algeria, Iraq, South Africa, Morocco, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Romania, Spain, Slovakia, Belarus, Mali, Angola, Laos, Vietnam, VATIKAN ... over 100 countries, over 6 bilion of people do not recognise Kosovo as country. We recommend going to the bus station on the day and getting tickets, alot easier as you need the paper copy of the ticket to get on the bus (learnt the hard way) it was about 8 euros each for a ticket
