I wish it was shown in the Spring/Fall. I think you stick out drastically with the green in just the front and not the back amongst all the dead grass. Good video tho, nonetheless!
@airsoftstini Жыл бұрын
I was honestly way too lazy to get rid of the green on the balaclava and rifle, haha. This I think was shot in super early Spring here where I live in Canada.. Literally last week looked exactly how it does in this video. I was out at the field today, 1 week later, still in Spring and everything is vibrant green
@WUTANGCLAN705 Жыл бұрын
@@airsoftstini yeah that's not an excuse. I'm in Canada as well and everything is growing back. Maybe you can do a new video? Show how good your suit does during summer. I'm sure everyone would love to see you build your leaf suit as well to match the surroundings. Only suggesting

What colour would you pick? I mean generally speaking, whould it be eveglade for most of the cases?
@justinwood99462 жыл бұрын
Hey Stini, I've been seriously on the fence about getting the shoulder piece mostly because I was wondering how well the Amber holds up in our Canadian temperate forests. What's your experience been? From what I've seen.. the Everglade variation looks just a touch too "sandy" for the climate up here. Is the Amber better in your opinion? The greens in the pattern are really appealing
@airsoftstini2 жыл бұрын
Hey man! So straight up, Novritsch ghillie products get some hate on forums however, it totally depends on your environment. In my honest opinion, I play in Regina, SK and this ghillie suit stock holds up well in spring, summer and fall here in the prairies. I lightly crafted it with green halo screen, Nov leafs and raffia and it was extremely effective. It’s a 10/10 for me man. Especially for the price.. they’re so cheap and so damn durable. I can’t say enough good things about Nov ghillie products for Canadian fields
@justinwood99462 жыл бұрын
@@airsoftstini Nice, thanks for the quick response dude. I went ahead and bought it today. I run a viper hood I crafted myself with Novritschs leaf system and raffia so there was immediate appeal to the shoulder piece with 3d leaves already on it.

Thank you so much! I'm going to make a video explaining how to make engaging airsoft videos and how to edit them. I'm a full time filmmaker of 5+ years and own a video production company (Subtle Cinematics on KZbin). These Nov ghillie's are sick though!

I've heard rumors that Novritsch dropships cheaper ghillies from other manufacturers, any confirmation on this?
@airsoftstini3 жыл бұрын
Can't confirm personally. I've been using it in extremely heavily bushed environments and I crawl around A LOT.. I probably beat this ghillie suit more than Novritsch's team did during product testing and there is zero rips or signs of abuse anywhere. I've used it for around x20 30 minute - 1 hour long games.

Great review! I have heard that the leaves fray after use, does this happen to you? And is it a big deal?
@airsoftstini3 жыл бұрын
I honestly haven’t played enough with them to give you a solid answer as we’ve been under heavy Covid restrictions where I live in Canada. However, even if you do shed leaves over time.. for the price, it’s relatively cheap for packs of 50. If you’re gonna shed any. It’s gonna be the leaves on the pants and shoulder area. If your fields don’t have much natural foliage, you’ll be fine. Where I play, the terrain is pretty harsh so I tend to shed leaves

@airsoftstini3 жыл бұрын
If you tend to run around a lot and are a super active sniper, I would go with the shoulder ghillie. If you like to camp out and be suuuuuper sneaky, then get the jacket. I’ll most likely swap between the shoulder ghillie and my crafted KMCS depending on the fields I’m playing at

@@airsoftstini thats what i was thinking about doing theres some milsim filed that are big that i was gonna go all gillie and then my field thats kinda small but some of the wood area is cut off for use and the places that are bearly give cover and bearly sees anyone becuse theres so much stuff in the way
@ghosteclipz7007 Жыл бұрын
Hey have you got and played with either yet because I too don't know which one I want. Because like stini said I have a chest rig but it's not camoflauged at all so with the shoulder piece I feel like I'd stand out a lot but putting it under the jacket seems a bit annoying. What did you do?

It looks good, but it would still be wayyyyy better and cheaper to go to an army surplus and buy BDU’S and then buy the materials. It’s time consuming but 100% worth it.

After buying my own materials and making my own, its not worth it. You'd be surprised how much money you spend on all the materials and dyes. I will be throwing away my homemade ghillie and buying one.

@@Ranjeero You're spending $60 bucks on the coat, pants, and hat alone, maybe $10 on the netting, $15 for all the jute and dye, $15 minimum for any sneaky leaves or other commercial attachments. Thats $100 bucks easy, which is a hell of a lot of work when you can buy a decent ghillie for $120
