Is it normal for a 0.8 joule ssg 10 to under hop .32 bls bbs
@FOXGREEN3 жыл бұрын
You need to shoot over 700 bb before the hop up breaks in it should then hop 0.32g bbs fine. However, I actually changed the stock hop up nub to a 50 degree maple leaf autobot bucking as I found the 60 degree one it comes with had difficulty hopping in colder weather during the winter. Sorry for bothering you again I have my new ssg10 a1 I have put the FPS adjusters in and it was at 0.7 of 1 joule obviously I have to get more to bring the power up but some other problems I have is that the FPS can jump all over the place for example it was shooting at 0.7 and next shot shooting at 0.5 and the hop is very poor on my gun I have only shot it about 30 times and now the gun won’t shoot I just don t know what to do

Hi Natja what weight bbs ate you using? First of all the gun takes about 500 shots for the hop up to break on but if youbate shooting and the bb is not coming out you may have the hopup on all the way blocking the barrel so turn it off and shoot it with no mag to clear that bb out. On 1 joule I recommend 0.3 g bls bbs or nov bbs for it. As fir the fps going up and down I woukd say to clean and lubricate the inside of the piston the issues your are having are common and don't worry can be fixed snipers take a bit of knowledge to get them working well but when you do it will be perfect. Add the fps adjuster to get it to the right power and lubricate the gun internally with silicone grease first. Then shoot hundreds of bbs with the hop up turned half on to break it in after that it should be perfect

I use .32 bls I have noticed that everytime I shoot the mag slips out a bit

To remove the nozzle use a cycling pin wrench - a good one (Park Tools); will be about £10 There’s a good mail order site based north of you in Belfast (sounds like ‘blame-correction-crykels’)🤨 ...and come on (you’re an engineer after all) - you are not using ‘glue’ but an adhesive ...no horses were harmed to make the blue threadlocker🤪

🤣 Glue/adhesive its all the same man or " Medium strength locktight glue' to be exact. Doesn't need to be made from horses hoofs to be called glue. Google definitions is your friend 🤣

It's nice to see a fellow Irish airsoft player. I don't actually play yet because of corona but when it's over I will start playing. Maybe at some point we might meet . and what field do you play at?

Thanks man! I mostly play at spec ops or simtac near Dublin 🙂👍

IMPORTANT 1. NO comparison of air brake vs no air brake...you should disconnect the silencer as well to show how much of a difference it makes. Air brakes are regarded as snake oil in MOST cases. 2. Once established the air brakes (you can debate about sorbo pads) don't make a sound difference, you don't need the fps adjuster rings. It is much better to get a tougher spring and cut to the desired power output. A weaker spring with rings will wear out faster, will be louder and won't be as consistent. 3. Locktite: NOT needed, very expensive for the amount and it's not needed to get a good seating on the barrel. I've been running the setup for a long time without it...no problem at all. BOTTOM LINE: Fox green IS NOT an independent reviewer and should state his BIAS ! I do not oppose to him affiliating with Novritsch, but I'm bothered by the pushing of products that don't work and cause needless spending by people not familiar with the topic.

1. Air breaks work. This is well know so no need to compare with or without thats a waste of time. If you think they dont work then your very wrong. There is a reason all those in the know run them. 2. Sorbo pads are not that good when compared to a proper airbreak. The aircushion dies all the the work for you stoppi g the slap from ever even happening simple physics. I have had way better results from airbreaks on different setups. Fps adjuster work fine it's the same thing if you don't want to buy a new spring. Infact most people use them the fine tune their springs. All my set ups are fine tuned with fps adjusters even my tac41. No issues with wear my SSG24 still used them 4 years later with no wear. I have never seen a spring wear out in my 15 years of airsoft play every weekend with the same gun for up to a year at times and that's with an aeg two tlwhich shoots way more shots than the average sniper would in a year. 3. Locatite is not expensive especially for the tiny amount required for my setup. This is just my tips as I have found I did need it. Nobody has to take this advice. 4. At the time of this video I was not a Nov Affiliate. Now I am and its common knowledge how do you think you know I am? It's even stated on my Instagram page. but my reviews are not biased infact if they were why would I be making a video on how to improve his gun?? I have had brands approach me that want only positive reviews I don't review their products my honest opion is what keeps my subcribers coming back for more and its wjat keep my channle relvant i wont sacrafice that for a greedy company. Nov actual states he wants honest reviews and feedback I can show you the emails. Plud the negative things I have said in my reviews on his products before have all usuakky been fixed by batch two. That's a progressive company. I find it intresting that you say his products don't works yet in point 3 above your clearly say you have been running this setups without problems?? 🤔 Strange that.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJyXYZV4hJ2Eoq8 This is what I meant. It doesn't do anything for the sound. I also ran with a sorbopad and that didn't help. The greatest reduction in noise comes from getting your cilinder/barrel ratio right, shooting a heavier weight bb, the supressor and weight of the piston. The airbrake does nothing. Unless you have a vid where you do the measurements to prove me wrong. I prefer doing the 'research' myself and not just do it because all the rest does it...a lot of sheep out there and brosciencers. So...who is in 'the know'...not anyone really if you check the forums or the Novritsch support team (the team that MADE the replica).
