A lot of my followers know that I have autism, Asperger's syndrome.
I've been telling about it in various Instagram and Facebook posts.
This however, is the first time that I'm showing what happens.
The ugly truth, the struggles of dealing with the simple things.
Since we were at a launch event, we we're filming a lot, so a lot got caught on camera.
Not all my struggles and panic attacks got filmed, but ‪@VerageAirsoft‬ will try to explain what happens.
It's not easy for me to show this.

My mom was a teacher for many years working with kids on the spectrum including myself. Having her with me 24/7 early in life really helped me learn how to "blend in" and "suppress" until I was alone. Lisa, you are handling yourself on a level I have never witnessed before. Well done! It was so refreshing to see, not just individual support and understanding, but an entire group. I could go on and on but I'll finish with this; Lisa, you are loved. Thank you ☺️. It was great meeting all of you too! Normally I'm not as much of a basket case as I was this weekend 😅. Things are equally hard, but usually I manage to cope better. Everything was just way to much. Airsofting is normally the easy part. I feel fine when I'm airsofting. Unfortunately I didn't even manage to play that weekend. Playing would probably have helped me a lot. I don't think anybody could have done anything to make it easier. It's just me and my stupid brain. Next time we meet, I'll hopefully be more fun to hang out with 😆

One tip from an old former airborne soldier. When your afraid of flying to the point of needing to medicate ,, dont ever get a window seat!!! Just sit in the aisle seat and mentally convince yourself it's just a bus ride and dont even look at a window

I always take the window seat because I have claustrophobia. If I look outside, the space doesn't feel so tiny. I'll give the buss thing a try tho 😊. Normally I don't take the elevator either, but here I was such a mental wreck, that I just didn't have the energy to care anymore somehow. I think in the video you can see me standing in the elevator with my eyes closed. I'm not sure tho, I only watched the video once since it's hard to watch for me.

Guns and various mental issues (all that being mentioned bellow in the comments) are things that don't stick together. I wish all the best for people suffering, and I am not trying to be an asshole, however if even medication do not help, maybe you need to do something else? I mean, being a brand ambassador that cannot shoot, cannot participate, cannot be engaged at all with the team, and make camera man rescue the entire event. Imagine, if there were no camera man, what the event would look like? correct, a disaster. If there is so much ''I am scared'' moments, there are many very successful bloggers that are vloging and blogging about the mental issues, share their knowledge, share best advice on how to get along with mental issues, that would be so much worth it, rather than being on a Airsoft and Guns topic. Don't get me wrong, I respect a joice of each individual, but I am saying the way how it looks from the side for the audience. Everybody can pose with the gun in the front of the camera, but when it comes to speak, make a correct presentation on the product or topic, have an engaging conversation - if it is hard though as being said, maybe Airsoft life is not for everybody. Hope you will recover, do something you are good at, do it consistently and you will succeed.

Don't worry, you're not being an asshole 😉, you're just wrong 😉. First of all, I'm not a brand ambassador; I just got invited to this event. Airsoft life IS for everybody. That's the beauty of this sport. In case you think I'm some sort of gun Bunny, I'm not! I've been airsofting for 16 years, and I'm good at it. I'm not "on an airsoft and gun topic" just because I had to choose something, no. I'm on the airsoft topic because airsoft is a life style. I can't even imagine life without airsoft. I think it's sad that you think that I should pick something else to do. Why? Why should I just give up in doing something that I love? Because it's hard? Life is a big fat struggle, but that doesn't mean that I stop trying. And the best part about my struggles and sharing them, is that I have helped so many people. The messages that I get are heartwarming. Giving hope and strength to people with (metal) handicaps, make them see that you can accomplish things, even tho it's hard. And yes, on this event I failed, but that shouldn't be a reason to give up.

Nice video except the title. Do you really need to put such click-bait on informative content? Don't you think that's a little inappropriate and disrespectful to Chris, his team and most of all Lisa?

I'll copy paste what I replied to the one other person that asked me about the title, and add something extra for you. - "NOVRITSCH made me cry", that would be a misleading title. I have a still from the video where Christopher is pointing, I could have used that next to my crying face. That's common KZbin click bait. I don't do that. I just try to get the important summary in the title. But I get what your saying. It's just not meant like that. - I have not a single bad word about the company, or the content creators that were there. I choose this title myself, because I thought it fits the video. It's a title, and a title should be short, and contain as much information possible. NOVRITSCH SSP5 launch - This was the event where it happened. It's relevant. I didn't put this in as a clickbait. The ugly truth - Because it's highly unpleasant in many ways for me. I hate it that I can't function "normally". It's really hard to see myself like that. And it's way different then most things you see on social media. So for me, this is the ugly truth. On the spectrum - Because it's about autism. So again, I really did not mean for this to be clickbait. I don't like clickbait, and I will never use clickbait titles on purpose. Hope this helps you understand.

Young people does not care about 47 mins long video (I think that maximal length of video they are villing to see is about couple if minutes). They just check the title made asociations and "hoax" is alive => they just starts to tell others about some video where someone reveals the truth about BAD Novritsch and his fraud company. Anyway I don't want to offend you by this comment. I just don't like it when people see everything in black and white and collect missleading or even false informations about other (in this case Novritsch) to make fun of thme or scold them. I do not work for Novritsch or have any interests but I think that his company does very much for Airsoft comunity and their inventions are great. So in the end I would like to thank you for this video where all this is presented as a bit of an aside. :)

Actually, from someone like me who is autistic myself, it is helpfull seeing a content creator who is not only autistic, but also in airsoft, because 1. I feel represented, 2. that way people understand that autists can be trusted to play airsoft safely and 3. that even though autism made airsoft harder for me to play, it is still very much doable.

I am autistic myself and i unfortunatly have faced many problems beforw i was even allowed to play airsoft so it always warms my heart to see a fellow airsofter with autism despite the difficulties doing such an amazing job and also being such an amazing content creator❤️

🫡 I salute you both I have to chat to people to claim my anxiety it's a mask but I do love meeting new people and yeah it's draining. My son has autism and your strength and ability gives me so much hope for my son's future and the hope of him finding someone one day that will support him so well.
