Time to start the next world, which is a boat apparently. The astral express crew is asked to visit one of the Hexafleets ships, the Xianzhou. Apparently there is some stellaron stuff going on, and Kafka wants us to help out her friend Blade. Time for some Dan Heng backstory!

5:46 some notes for the LCs: - The LC on Dan Heng is only good if you have a Shielder since you'll lose the SPD bonus from the LC once you get hit and lose HP. Unfortunately, while March's shield is okay it has added taunt which will make it target that unit more thus making the shield deplete faster, and Preservation MC has paperthin shields and can work but it would make the team SP negative rather than positive. It'll do better if you get Gepard. - Meshing Cogs (the one on Tingyun rn. Try to Superimpose when you get more of it) is good with almost any Harmony unit thanks to the energy regen you get. - Serval can keep her current LC but you can also go for the pom-pom one as DMG is really good and more consistent compared to the Ruan Mei LC. 7:07 team comps: - either use Natasha or Bailu, whichever makes you more comfortable. The only disadvantage of Bailu is that she has no cleanse on her kit making it difficult to go through enemies because lots of them have Crowd Control. Later on, you will get to unlock a new free healer that will be easier to use and manage. - you can use Preservation MC but the problem, as I've stated above, is that their shield is paperthin, not enough for enemies that deal AoE. Plus continuously using their Skill to use their taunt will make them SP negative instead of SP positive. They do get a self heal later on tho (I forgot if it was Eidolons or Traces). So you can swap him out for a Harmony or Nihility character. Or any other character you want. - Mono teams are okay but only with SW. An all lightning team is okay with the enemies in particular fights have lightning weaknesses. Otherwise, yeah, try to have Type coverage as much as possible as Weakness Breaking an enemy will help you in the long run. Additional stuff for easier gameplay and/or more numbers/dmg: - Pela. If you're looking for a good unit to build and is incredibly universal. She is stupidly amazing as a 4* unit. She's currently one of the must build units because of her crazy def shred and fast energy regeneration thanks to her Talent and with the right ornaments, she will only take two or three turns before she can ult again and then getting her def shred up. Not to mention she can remove a buff from an enemy when using her skill (This comes from her bonus trace) and lowers enemies' Freeze Res (Eidolon 4). If you want continuous debuff from her (aka while using basic attack), you will need the Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat but its hidden behind, well, gacha. For now just use Good Night Sleep Well on her (the one with her face on it). - Serval. I would highly recommend building and using her thanks especially her AoE and her fast Ult. She will be incredibly useful for a lot of fights in the future. Serval can also do Shock DoT so that's a plus as well. - Asta. She's also a universal unit and can work as a sub-dps against Fire Type weakness enemies when built right since she doesn't rely on her stats for her buffs. Her SPD buff is incredibly useful since more SPD means more turns in a single cycle. When maxed out on her main traces-she can give out 70%+ Atk buff when she has full Charing (the little red/orange dots under her HP) and 50 SPD on her Ult. She truly shines in a Fire team thanks to her bonus traces of additional Fire dmg to other units. In addition to those, Asta can also work as a Fire DoT and helps with AoE fire dmg. - Please save the fuels for when you reach Equilibrium 6. You will need them to farm for gold relics. - For ideas on how to build certain units, feel free to look at guides. These are all I can think of at the top of my head. Also, you don't have to follow my advice as they're mostly suggestions/ideas that might help you. Good luck and have fun, general! o7

Serval is a decent unit for early game, but she doesnt really age well for later game content Fmc’s shield is supposed to be only for themself (since they have high def, less dmg taken to the shield) Taunt also last 2-3 turn (i forgor) so at worse its sp neutral, and you only have to taunt when enemy turn is next, not as soon as possible (speedy mc go brr)

@@Ian-vw2tu People have used Serval for endgame before. And she does well for an Erudition especially with her fast ult time. It's a matter of build and team comp. Plus you have to consider the other bosses later on (those with Lightning Weaknesses) so that would beneficial if they don't plan to pull that often. The taunt may last long but Fire MC can't solo sustain especially in an AoE scenario when you consider other bosses later on.

Asta has been my favorite Harmony character since the beginning of the game. Super easy to build, and shreds fire weak boss toughness so fast. And that SPD increase is way too good, as someone who has bad luck on SPD secondaries.

The Xianzhou is, potentially (at least to me), one of the most interesting destinations in the game so far. Seeing how invested you are with the lore I'm pretty confident you'll find a great deal of enjoyment here; though keep in mind that this arc is quite the word salad and boy does the Luofu have the catalogue. By the way, the BGM at the cargo bay is titled "Cumulus Formations". It's one of my favorite tracks.

Hey man, small tip (no spoiler), there's going to be a lot of dialogue explaining this new world, so if you're struggling to quickly process information (same) then it might be better to manually click through the story instead of going with auto mode. You already missed some parts because you were thinking out loud and sometimes there won't be backlogs, as you've already experienced, so if you go manual then in the long run you'll be able to understand everything better and faster :) It's also somewhat difficult for your viewers to keep up with what's being said in the story and what you're saying, so I think it'll be a win-win all around

After finishing Loufu main story I recommend Doing a certain character companion mission(I'm going to post the characters name below in case you don't want to know now) and then the "Jolted Awake From a Winter Dream" and "Crown of the Mundane and Divine" trailblaze continuance. There is also a Loufu one that's heaven for lore enjoyers but it doesn't add any context for the region after Loufu. I had already figured out you spliced the audio in the previous video, and I need to repeat- It was an amazing job. A note about the Xianzhou: It uses 'bigger on the inside' space technology ala Dr. Who. A 'delve' is a cabin on the ship in which they've squeezed something like a port, a marketplace, a park, etc. I, uh, can't recommend the lightning team right now. Though I also wouldn't fret too much about keeping the Trailblazer on your team. You probably want to switch them back to Destruction for now, though, Physical will be handy. Pela will be both useful and save you a *ton* of grief in the upcoming fights. Many of the enemies have an extremely annoying buff she can remove, and they're weak to Ice.

It is heavily implied that the protag had a journey prior to the first scene of the game where the Stellaron Hunters awake him. Kafka knew him/her right from the very beginning and she was talking as if they already had interacted before. The main protag does not remember because Kafka used her powers to manipulate him to only remember Kafka when waking up not remember anything else (this is during the first scene).

It's not very important that you have 3 lightning if only Serval is going to be attacking most of the times. I think it's more important that the paths are right and the elements are just a plus or you can switch it up a little depending on the enemies.

5:51 I'd say that is true at some point but you should still be careful when leveling up lightcones because not all of them are meant for that same character, you first should study at least a bit about a character abilities before leveling up a lightcone with their photo or you can just look at guides to see what lightcone is best for them. Some examples would be: a nihility lightcone called "It's showtime" with Sparkle's photo even tho she is a harmony character, a destruction lightcone with SAM's photo even tho it isn't that good for him and a also destruction lightcone with Misha's photo even tho it also isn't that good for him. I also wanted to clarify that that lightcone you put on Bailu is alright, but if you ever get "Shared feeling", "Post-op conversation" or even her signature lightcone "Time waits for no one", then please consider using one of these instead. Little fun fact that is totally not related to anything I said but anyway: Welt is originally a character from another Hoyoverse game called Honkai Impact 3rd, something happened (I don't remember now because idk almost anything about honkai impact lore) that he decided to go to another universe. That universe happened to be Honkai Star Rail and now he's part of the express crew lol. Also, he's considered to be one of the strongest characters lore wise since his cane is a very powerful weapon (it summons black holes duh) and he was also a god at some point, or more specifically, the herrscher of reason. (I'm also pretty sure that he can still use some of his herrscher powers so there's that too)

For the question about the stelleron burst, you basically hit the nail on the head! A stelleron can appear for all sorts of reasons like just appearing out of thin air or being bought in by someone/something but this doesn't mean that it's active. However just by being present it begins to affect reality and as such causes a "burst" where imaginary energy can begin to alter the space around it like radiation. This can lead to stuff like fragmentum and monsters appearing. The big thing is when it becomes active it can cause all types of phenomena to occur, ie the eternal freeze from Belobog/Jarilo-VI. So simply put burst= imaginary radiation leaks which most often cause monster and fragmentum and active= anything could happen. Awesome deduction!

Fun thing about the Voice Actors of Honkai Star Rail, they have a lot of fun with things. Seele's VA does a playthrough of this game just like you do (and she uses a silly cartoon fish as her avatar. Not a fish person or a mermaid, just a cartoon fish.) Dan Heng's VA actually organizes a lot of the VA's to sing songs from the show, along with VA's singing parody songs. He got Gepard, Serval, and Lynx(Their little sister you haven't met yet)'s Voice Actors so do a cover of Wildfire.

I'm sure its been said before but just in case it hasn't been - "Trailblaze Continuance" missions, which are orange in color, are also main story missions, of a sort - they take place concurrently with the main story, and are "Continuances" of the story of places you've been to before! They directly tie into the main plot, introducing characters and story points that will appear later in main story. The text from Herta is one of those, in fact. They have the same level of quality, cutscenes, and voice acting as the actual main story quests as a result. They might be worth recording too! Anyways - absolutely lovely video, as always! Love seeing your reactions to everything in the story. I think there were other reasons that people suggested reading the Masked Fool entry, but your reaction was absolutely hilarious and the cut-to-end gag made me laugh - Excellent work!

So, the Xianzhou Loufu is a weird area story-wise: at launch, the game covered the Station, Jarilo-VI and HALF of the Loufu storyline. The second half was released piece by piece via patches, with Hoyo's traditional 6 week cycle in between patches. Since usually players spend those weeks doing side content, the writers hid A LOT of important content in side missions, to the point that some characters made no sense at all if you skipped them. They did restructure a bit the main story later on, but some stuff still feels iffy if you just barrel through MSQ. But don't worry, if you ever feel lost, just read the comments: we will never give you up, never let you down!

The character for light cone thing is correct if it's a 5 star light cone. Most 4 star light cones are universal and some are specific. And yes. 5 star light cones are gacha related.
