Just some advice. Don't bother saving up standard banner tickets. There's no benefit from saving them. Just pull as soon as you get 10 tickets. Plus, using them up is more beneficial for you since it gives you more characters and light cones, gives you the currency needed to buy the standard 5 star light cones and get you closer to the 300 pull 5 star character choice.

"You sound so fake" - that's one way to say it lol. Completely forgot she's the first character to meet you in this arc. And I like Dan Heng - a lot of people disliked his voice at the beginning but I liked his gentle lisp since it was different from the "brooding cool guy" types of voices characters like him tend to have, so that endeared him to me from the start lol. I think people don't really hate him now, they just don't care for his gameplay due to [redacted]. Also, highly recommend watching the "A Flash" animation that features Jing Yuan [it's like...3-4 minutes long]. It was released like a month after the game was released, so it's not really spoilery, more like an added bit of story telling than a trailer to introduce elements to the story, and it's just...so good animation and character-wise. :')

just a bit of exposition: Xianzhou Luofu’s long life species and immortals are two different things. you’ll find there are human looking xiannzhou people who are long life species and can live up to an average of 800 (like Jingyuan), foxians who are like native xianzhou people but live to 250-450 years (like Tingyun). so this means they are not immortal, just long lived.

Can Xianzhou natives actually die of Old Age/Natural causes though? Jingliu and Hanya are well over a thousand years old, and Huaiyan is significantly older than them too. Usually, the 10 Lords Commission takes anyone away when they exhibit signs of being Mara Struck. Being Mara Struck is basically an end to their humanity but they don’t exactly die either

@@awesomeperson5150 Tldr in case u dont wanna read my lengthy explanation: they dont die to age or injuries. the only way they die is via mara or if they get decapitated. Xianzhou natives are called long life species because they live long, but die after a few hundred years bc of mara. but technically, they can live forever if they really tried no, they can't die of old age. Natural causes for them is technically mara, and mara only. The Danshu storyline explained the extraordinary healing abilities of Xianzhou natives. If they get injured, they'll heal. If they lose an arm, they'll grow it back. The only way to truly kill a xianzhou native is to decapitate them (i forgot what quest it is but it was mentioned that a cloud knight died when his head was separated from his body, but was revived when someone reconnected his head somehow). Danshu was born blind, and even though she underwent surgery to fix it, her body "healed" (translation: reverted back to its original state) and she slowly and painfully went blind again (iirc, her eyes bled out, but maybe that's a different thing) there's a readable item that states that a certain family on the Luofu has an average lifespan of 3000 years before they succumb to mara. Only then did they "die". They use a certain method to achieve this, and Jing Yuan uses that exact same method (he hints at it in his voiceline about meditation) if you want a lengthy explanation on this i can go on and on, but whatever Also: Jing Yuan is implied to have been the General for at least 700 years already iirc, so if the time adds up, he may also be well over a thousand years old

YUKONG TIME!!!! yes, yukong is playable AND also free if you do a certain event info dump time: Pela debuffs enemies with her skill, although just one at a time, but it does work on mara-struck soldiers and coincidentally have ice weakness. the lightning set is pretty good for serval!! just pick those with main stat speed boots and main stat crit rate/dmg/atk body, with good substats ofc. (all relics are divided into 4 pieces namely: feet (boots), head (hat/helmet), body (armor/clothes), and hands (gloves)) jing yuan? you mean, KING YUAN 😎

THE XIANZHOU exist from before 8000 years not every individual you are seeing on the ship, dont remember how much of it the game explains but here a short info : everyone on the ships are long live speacies, from which the foxians have the shorters spawn, the dragon race is next and those who looks like normal looking humans have the longest , some live over 1000 years, there is a "myriad celestia trailer" about the xianzhou ships, if you didnt watch it already now is the best time to check it out.

Since you brought up the topic of meeting Bailu... not sure if this matters to you and I don't want to spoil anything, but right around the time you meet her there's an optional yet time-limited minor questline which can provide some early exposition on what's been going on, introduce you to a few NPCs, and let you do some minor good which so far doesn't seem to be tracked by the game (but it certainly tracks all sorts of minor things about your particular playthrough so we can't be sure). If you want it, be watching around the time you meet Bailu for a "police detective" to invite you to the "police station" for a talk - and immediately put off the apparently urgent task you were in the middle of to find and help him out. What you were doing can in fact wait a while without anything bad happening (for legitimate yet spoilery reasons); his problem cannot and likely ends in a very unpleasant way offscreen without you. All that said, the questline was made skippable due to player complaints about it being a drag on the pacing, and you do seem to like to keep the plot moving along.

as a dan heng main who's trying very hard to still use him, it's just bc he's powercrept. makes sense - he's a starter character four star, like ofc the new/5 star units are gonna be better than him?? a lot of people care too much about big numbers and meta over just having fun. he's a good character for early game (which you still are!) and he carried me throughout the entire questline up to the most recent trailblaze mission. it's only now that im doing endgame content (divergent universe, forgotten hall, etc) that he's starting to feel a little,, underwhelming. alas i have far too much love in my heart for him (and no [redacted] yet) to stop maining him 😅 enjoyed your commentary immensely, ty! also! as for the ruan mei quest (and the dr ratio quest that follows it), if you plan on doing it, you're good to wait until the xianzhou arc is over! that one, the washtopia one, and the future market prologue you'll unlock later are best to do before you leave for the next planet, since you'll be meeting key characters later

They are an adorable Conductor for the Astral Express, and they cannot leave it. Not much else is known about what they are. Some theorize that Pom-Pom has a connection to Akivilli, rather than just the Astral Express, but nothing is really confirmed. I do agree they are puntable, though I would never do such a thing. Yes, that relic set is good for Serval. There's technically a better one, but you don't have access to it yet, plus it requires maintaining 3 debuffs to make it stronger. "Hmm, what did you say?" is getting some great use in your series, and I love it. Foxians are not immortal, but they do live for an average of 300 years. Yukong is 246. Vidyadhara can live up to about 700 years old, and go through cycles of reincarnation. Dan Heng and Bailu are relatively recently reincarnated (age not known, but likely several decades old but less than 200 which is the age of majority). Xianzhou native humans (often just referred to as "long-life species") have an average lifespan of about 800 years old, but can live longer if they have a strong sense of self and purpose. Mara-struck is their "death" state, where they lose themselves. Jing Yuan is over 1000 years old.

also about the relic farming, the defense set is BIS on almost every preservation character so its a very solid place to farm (i think gamble boys' bis set is pioneer because of the large amount of bonuses it gives)

I didn’t know that people actually disliked Dan Heng. I really love him and have him at Lv.80. Dan Heng is my 2nd fav Character 21:45 I’ll warn you this once. Really build your characters well if you want to do Washtopia or that quest will beat you to death. This Companion Mission is fairly infamous in the community for its insanely hard fight at the end (well, for me it wasn’t because I crushed that fight but yeah) Some players couldn’t complete this quest due to that reason 59:30 Currently everybody except for Elio are playable from the Stellaron Hunters. You’ll meet the last Stellaron Hunter a lot later in the story since you’ve already met Kafka, Silverwolf, and Blade. You haven’t seen Elio and ??? yet

its not just that its a difficult fight if you want to try again with a different team you have to play through the entire questline again (skip buttons are added but spamming skip for 3-5min isn't fun at all)

On what relics work for who. There is a QoL feature in game that is a little hidden that suggest relics based off the most used sets. If you go to the relic tap then click on one of the relic slots you well see a button labeled "recommend". Click on it shows you the top 3 sets used for the selected character and the top 3 Main Stats for the selected relic. all broken down by precent usage. In the upcoming update the are improve the QoL by adding sub stats as well.

Now about Blade's escape. If the Alliance still has him in prison, then they wouldn't need us to trace after Kafka. They can simply use Blade as a bait to ambush her, and especially with the repeatedly-claimed "internal affairs" scenario. If they had anyway of capturing Kafka, they wouldn't let us outsiders meddle in such matters. So there you go with the chain of speculation in Welt's mind.
