You need to bake the meringue, it's raw egg whites!

I thought that, too! Why not use marshmallow fluff? Or, just cover the brownie layer with marshmallows before baking?

Put it in the oven with the broiler pre heated. It will brown beautiful. Don't walk away from it though!

Putting back in off under broiler for few minutes you would have browned the meringue😊

Too much chocolate for us because real brownie batter should already contain melted chocolate. Meringue is not equal to marshmallow, which is a essential s'mores ingredient. Your choice.
