Happy Maggot Monday! There's still time to vote in the latest poll for my next music video. I know all the songs already, so this is purely for the video itself. Next song reaction will be The Blister Exists. Thanks for watching this one! :)

You are most definitely a Maggot! I was thoroughly impressed that you got the transition for Solway Firth! This might be my favorite reaction, you were like a little girl that got every present she wanted and each present was better than the one before.😂 In a recent interview about the upcoming album, Clown talked about how much Corey surprised him, and how awesome it was to watch his favorite vocalist on this album. No, I couldn’t know how I’m gonna die. I’ve had a dances with the Reaper and I’ve accepted the fact that I’m gonna go when I’m gonna go. I’m gonna live my life the way I want to in the meantime. The Pinhead dad joke, hahaha! Oh and “What’s Next” leads into Spiders but not needed for a “Spiders” reaction.

Definitely don’t want to know how I’ll die. I worry about enough things in life. I will always be amused when you casually say “Hello maggots”.

Tell me how i'm gonna die can be taken two ways. It could be refering to someone telling him he is going to die due to how he is living his life, be it from drugs, violence, depression, etc. Or it could be him asking god to hurry it up and show him how he will die. Both tie in to the next line, because he is already dead inside (gone away) and leaving the situation. And even more darkly, it somewhat may refer to it not mattering what might kill him in the future, because he already intends to kill himself before any of that happens. I am really glad you checked this out and that you liked it :) personal favorite off of WANYK. As I have said before, its an incredibly personal song to me. It got me through a post depression rough spot where i almost relapsed into it. The song itself ties into moving on from depression, and the people who failed you during it. There is regret and scars, but having to accept what it is. He brings up his exe's martyr syndrome here. And he compares it to a ghoul manifesto (when the living eat the dead to sustain themselves). I.e, she fed on being there for him to make herself feel good. And it didn't help, it is just someone taking advantage of a broken person. Overall, to me, the song asks an important question i always had, 'how did no one notice how far gone I was?'. And in the end, even if that stings to ask, you have to accept that it is up to yourself to save yourself. Also, minor edit (and yes, i can go on all day about how this song accurately portrays moving on from depression and suicidal tendencies): tell me how you loved a lie can be read as how people, when they see you lash out or withdraw during depression, just say you are showing the 'real you' and that the real you is a bad person, and that you made a mask to appeal to them in the first place, instead of realizing that maybe you need help. While the irony is during depression, most people put on a mask of happiness to avoid alienating people.

First, I really wouldn't like to know how I'd die. I'm already too paranoid. Second, when Corey said WANYK would be "Iowa levels of heavy" everybody was expecting an equally angry album, but what came out was this masterpiece, that absolutely shows how much they've evolved musically and personally. You can tell they're not the 2001 guys anymore, obviously. Not only that, you can see that each song speaks for themselves being unique in their own way. It was a great surprise for me, I thought they were already tired and just doing some fan service putting out another album, I'm glad I was wrong. Obs: FUCK YEAH! The Blister Exists is one of my all time favorites, is on my top 3, absolutely great song.

For anyone who is feeling frustrated/having a bad day: 1. Go to this dropped-pitch version of this song: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJ2ul2yoqrmrq7c 2. When it reaches 3:20, set the video to play at 0.75x speed. You can switch it back to normal speed when it reaches 3:49 This will make Not Long For This World sound more dense, and even more emotionally crashing and satisfying. Enjoy :)

As someone who suffers from anxiety, part of me would want to know and part of me wouldn’t, because I’m not sure if knowing would increase or decrease my anxiety if that makes any sense 🤷🏻 Was sulfur the actual MV? I only ask because it’s rare that lyric videos get blocked. Having said that if you put something over top of the video (a watermark of sorts) it usually helps. Best of luck because that song is at the top of my list all because of one line. I’ll tell you which one if you’re really interested.

You got it! Its goes right into Solway Firth. Also no I would not like to know how I would die. Would be another thing to worry about. Also have you heard of a loophole to that question? As you said in your example, people would probably avoid doing whatever activity that would kill them, but the loophole is that death comes back at you with even worse ways to die, and if you keep avoiding it it just gets worse and worse. It's and interesting thought, I think about it whenever I get asked this question so I'd rather keep the "easiest" death I have right now lol.
