Okay so shes actually partially right lol if any of yall are into musical theres literally a shrek musical it was on netlfix for a while but in the song ballad of farquaad he gives his lineage and his parents were a legitimate princess and a dwarf she left her kingdom to be with his father and becomes a piece of the reason he despises fairytale creatures now according to the musical the mom was the princes from princess and the pea (i think) the song states she died by falling off of 25 mattresses in her sleep so idk

In the song, he reveals his father was specifically Grumpy, but does not say who his mother was other than the princess from the story "The Princess and the Pea." It could have been any princess, but I highly doubt it was Snow White since he was given the option to marry Snow White in the first movie like you said and also in the musical himself.. not only is that incest, but it would also make her the same age if not younger than Farquaad, so him being her son is biologically impossible.

The man that started DreamWorks. Jeffrey katzenberg used to work for Disney and Shrek was a means to show his utter defiance and hatred towards Disney. It wasn't a homage. It was literally a middle finger to Disney. He also ran touchstone which brought you films like The godfather and sister act. In Shrek the Musical, he sings the song "The Balad of Farquaad" where she talks about how his father wasnt around much, he only said "hi ho" "and of to work hed go. Daddy was Grumpy" and then his mom died falling off of her bed which had 22(?) Mattresses making her the princess in "the princess and the pea," and it upset his father so much that he went to live with the other dwarves. AS FOR THE SNOW WHITE THEORY: He is given three bachelorettes to choose from, one of them being Snow White. When Snow White was put under her curse, she wasnt frozen in time like Sleeping Beauty... also, she was 7. Shes frequenly aged up, she definitely is in Shrek, but she looks to be either the same age as Farquaad or younger, making it impossible for her to be his mother. Also for fun, Princess Fiona is 30. She was sent to the tower when she was 7 and she spent 8,423 days in the tower (I Know It's Today.)
