But that’s what make all the Disney princesses girl-boss core already in their OG classics !!!! All of these perfect, idealized, princesses go through hardships and OVERCOME their battles while teaching young girls powerful messages. The fact they won’t do the “true loves kiss” because Snow White is “unconscious so it’s inappropriate” JUST MAKES THE WHOLE CONCEPT FEEL DIRTY AND INAPROPRIATE! When I was a kid, it was those little moments when Barbie and Ken (portraying whatever characters they did in the movies, usually princesses and princes) would hug / get married that my heart would flutter and I’d hope for a love that perfect (tho totally unrealistic). The kiss they show in the Disney movies is the same innocence as a hug or a hand wave towards the audience from the alter (yet again I’m using examples from the 2000s Barbie cartoons). It’s not inappropriate because it’s for KIDS to see without LÓGIC and just through the innocent eyes of fantasy and magic and love. The adults are doing things so wrong now and days. It’s totally ruining the triumph of “true loves kiss” just being Elsa’s love for Anna as well. After what happened in mulan I’m not gonna see any more disney remakes. Glad to say I only saw beauty and the beast and sad to say I saw the little mermaid. What they did to Sebastian remains unforgivable. - this is coming from an purposely overly dramatic 20 year old.

Hence the reference to "I don't need your business". There is clearly a massive difference between talking smack about the concept of a movie and attacking people. I made fun of the fact that she told more than half the country that she doesn't want their money, essentially speaking for Disney. And in regards to a movie that is clearly going to have one hell of a time. And considering how quickly she came out and tried to fix it, someone at the house of mouse obviously blew a gasket. Get it? Disney put god knows how much money into this movie, the trailer is recieved like 3 month old milk... and Zegler tells millions of people "yeah, I don't need your business". It is hilarious.
