there are 3 sides to me and all of them had different reactions to seeing this in my reccomendations: side 1, who thinks ai covers are unethical as they are stealing people's voices basically: eugh, another ai cover. disgusting. side 2, who's listened to ifuudoudou a little too much: this song? seriously? they made them sing this song? side 3, who's a crazy unhinged fangirl with intrusive thoughts: mmmph. squid sisters moaning. i don't like ai covers but this is the only one i'm going to support because i think this is genuinely hilarious and i will not use this video for anything else other than simply listening to it

I'm intrigued by your comment haha. First of all, I didn't mean for this to leave my little bubble of an audience, so hearing it's in people's recommended is insane to me. I never intended for people to take this extremely seriously or have it reflect anything of nintendo. As for AI covers themselves, your first point, I come from a time 10 years ago where we did this with UTAU instead, which was known to be unethical already. This is also why I don't use real people singing underneath my covers already, for the most part. I work in midi, usually. I don't like to steal from other artists, and I always give credit where credit is due. UTAU of fictional characters is already taboo, and can get you blacklisted from some UTAU media, depending on severity. but I've been doing this for a long time, 10 years, and AI is basically just a newer tech of doing the same thing with shorter steps. Yes, Ifuudoudou, again, didn't mean for it to leave my little bubble looool. It's a song I like a lot, I play it a lot on Sekai, and I wanted to hear the girlies sing it. I still put the work into it of rendering and mixing and fine-tuning the vocals to this. I think the problem with a lot of AI stuff is that it's just cheap plug and play, made for views or filler content. I don't support AI outside of fictional characters, it's the same as my morals for UTAU. At the end of the day, I'm a real person who put this together. I appreciate you taking the time to comment on my silly little post. I liked reading your perspective, and I agree a lot with you.

sorry you felt this way ): I gave her a solo part for this reason. my personal opinion is that Callie got the worst of it because she's buried in the chorus with basically no other lines. it could have been a little better, especially because Marina got her own harmonies in some of her parts, where that could have been another one singing with her. unfortunately I did most of this in sections without looking at the song as a whole, which is why the distribution is a little wonk. future covers will be improved, hopefully. it's been a good decade since I did a chorus cover lol.
