Tim. I hate to be that guy that scolds you but please start wearing helmets on the scooter. It doesn't matter if you are a excellent, cautious rider. The other guy can make a mistake and kill you. My good friends' brother in law just got killed in the PI (12 months ago) because a truck cut him off and he hit his head. My friend's Pinay wife (in Pittsburgh) is still torn up over losing her brother and he had little kids too. Back in '88, I was riding the curves outside Olongapo and hit an oil patch on the road. It didn't matter that I had almost 20 years experience on a bike at that time. I went down very fast, broke my collar bone and smacked my head on the pavement. My helmet protected my head and I was able to get up and off the road before the next bus came around the corner. I also had debris (rocks, etc) fall off a truck going the opposite way that bounced up and hit my helmet and face shield.

Are you still covered for prescriptions even though you might live outside a US territory? I just noticed a requirement for US or US territory address requirment to receive Prescription (drugs)?

You don't want to be a wife that turns into a nurse strapped down to care for her old husband after a short period of time and misses out on her youth ! Even though Tim is extra large and not too old he still does well at getting around and sharing experiences that help his wife grow as a person. So I'm hoping the best for this young lady.

Tim part of being a good spouse is keeping your health in check and weight under control. Yeah its not easy for some people. Happy Birthday Chrissy and so cool that you have such a good relationship with her family as I too feel special that my Filipinas family is like they adopted me so nicely into their clan. Jetjet sees how good Tim and Hannas husband treat them and even with the extra drama and brain freeze her life has truly transformed as she has grown into a Super lady. A bit embarrassing on the small massager gift but sometimes we expats seem to broaden our Filipinas exposure to certain things. haha. Worth Every peso as money is for creating memories and Happy times like making their birthdays a great remembrance. Life in the Philippines is so much better than it used to be in the USA even with more advanced infrastructure it is happier here. jet will like the USA

I've lived here since 2010 in Cebu , while cebu has everything it's too crowded and expensive now..But my favorites places to go on road trips is Leyte and Samar , it's cheaper and alot of beautiful places. The 2 islands are connected by a bridge so it's easy to drive from one to the other. If you find a car rental in Tacloban,Leyte you can travel both islands and see so much . But Manila and Cebu you wouldn't want to drive in or stay unless you want to spend alot and deal with insane traffic .
