the first time they performed this was on a competition show called phantom singer all stars. it was a friendly competition between the final 3 groups on the first 3 seasons of the show phantom singer (the second season of which forestella won.) in order to impress the judges they specifically amped up their performance by doing it in different languages. it went viral so they continued to perform it on other shows. forestella has their own music, but it's more to the classical side of classical crossover. their fourth album, called The Beginning: World Tree is all original songs. the 3 prior albums are a mix of covers and originals with a mix of musical genres (although their second album, Mystique, kind of sticks closer to the traditional classical crossover boundary than albums 1 & 3 do) . the first 5 songs on this playlist are forestella originals: kzbin.info/aero/PL2hwWBLaUBAdxHvT6jJqkiNMJ3GGeMpUa Save Our Lives and Utopia are the first 2 songs in a trilogy. part 3 hasn't been released yet. Thanks for your fantastic reaction to Forestella again! Forestella first performed this version of Shape of you in Phantom Singer All Stars. As it was filmed during serious covid period, there were only a few celeb guests and the competitors on the site. Forestella made this version for the online audience to feel a world trip vibe that was almost impossible at that time. If you wanna see their Korean style original song I highly recommend "Dear Moon". In the Kiwa studio channel "the Ties" and "the Words from the Wind" has English subtitles. I think it's hard to call Forestella's work as a typical Korean music...it's so Forestella music lol. Before watching Save our lives, check Inner Universe cover (JTBC Phantom Singer All Stars version) and Lazenca, Save us cover (KBS Immortal Songs version) because they had some common concepts with their original songs trilogy. Between Save our lives and Utopia, they had Bad Romance cover as the concept bridge. (I think they used their Fake Love cover in MAMA, EXO's MAMA cover as their concept bridge as well.) I hope their original songs also to be known to all over the world. I think their Utopia has the potential. Enjoy your Forestella journey! You have a long way to go! But it will be pleasantly long, never boring.

"Save our lives" and "UTOPIA" are two songs that share the same theme(Forestella explains these songs as the first two songs of trilogy). Great reaction. It would be worth taking a look at the performance at Bae DooHoon’s wedding when it is sung to his wife. It has no production. Please keep on with the journey. As I’ve said before check out their background via the three part Forestory. Yes they have their own original tracks which are rather marvellous but please do the trilogy in order Save Our Lives then Utopia (awaiting pt 3). There is also the recent White Night. In terms of OST (ish) stuff listen to their epic cover of Legends Never Die (League of Legends World Championship 2017) and Warriors (League of Legends World Championship 2014 by Imagine Dragons). Also you must do Kang HyungHo (PITTA) covering Phantom of the Opera, remember he was an untrained singer.
