Not supposed to be level Paul. Depends on load forward, fuel onboard, and the engine rooms are in the stern (rear). More difficult handling bow high, but weight distribution can always vary. Check it out when the ship leaves port. Numbers will be different. Not claiming to know it all...but after 30 years, on six different Navy ships. I kind of learned a few things in order to be qualified for sea service. Thanks for the video.

She was coming in to load, she had only ballast water keeping the props and bow thruster submerged for handling. As soon as she's along side they pump the ballast as fast as they can to allow them to load quickly.
