Just saw Chicago at the Venetian in Las Vegas - more new faces in group - but seems the time off due to Covid has reivegetated the original members- Robert, Jimmy & Lee -- Great performance by all -- had entire theater standing and joining in on some original songs -- they are great.

The current touring band is a small shadow of the great band they were in their early days when they had Terry Peter and Danny. The energy they exuded doesn’t exist in their performances today. Sad but true.

Yeah Bill Tuttle, Most people don't know this but this song was the last song of the night for a whole week of concerts (and then they stopped playing it altogether) because Walt's fingers always fell off at the end of the song. (8^)

Cetera *smoked*!? I thought w a voice like his he’d have treated it with kid gloves. Wonder when he quit?
@zgfit11 ай бұрын
1981. He stopped drinking, smoking,& drugs. Started working out & lost 50lbs. He got married & then his 1st daughter was born in ‘83.
@lamarravery40946 ай бұрын
@@zgfitI think he quit drugs earlier than that. The only ones really writing songs in the late 70s were Peter and Danny. Sure Lamm and Pankow had a few here and there, but Peter was getting ready for his solo career.

Amy Collins. He smoked back then, drank and did drugs. He quit everything when he left the band.
@lamarravery40946 ай бұрын
@@TMG3636Actually, he quit drugs and smoking somewhere in the late 70s, I think right after Terry died. He started taking better care of himself, getting in shape when his band members were all druggies. Danny and him were the only ones who were clean and wrote songs when everyone else got burnt out. But as a singer, he should never have smoked.
