​​@@cesarmeza5331that's because Detroit now has access to players and even contract types (length/dollar amount) that they've never in my lifetime had access to....at least not without massively over paying. Reader and Zeitler are willing to take shorter contracts because they have a chance to play next to elite talent and will almost assuredly get to play in January. Therefore these moves to the outside eye look incredible.

The Detroit Lions have a nucleus 4 and 5 year contracted players that are all going to refine skills and master their trade in the third year . . . Filled through the draft till you make the playoffs then sprinkle in some free agents where you need them

The lions pretty much touched every position of need on defense. D-line,CB, don't be surprised if they draft Texas A&M Linebacker Edgerrin Cooper or safety kamren Kitchens from Miami Hurricanes, Tyler Nubin from Minnesota. We talking Brad Holmes he is very unpredictable, finding talent. Go Lions!!

Jordan Love makes dumb plays when it’s on the line. The throw into triple coverage to end the divisional round was the sound of the lions window staying wide open.

If an OT falls, you got to grab him. Let him develop and then in '25 either kick him insde to G or move Decker to G to finish his career. Need youth on the OL.

I would go with the ability to trade up because you don't have many positions to fill therefore trading up to to get a solid Blue Chip player is feasible

The most important and immediate need is filling Frank Ragnow spot now. We should draft for the best center at 29. Especially since this position will be used frequently to rest Frank. It also help maintain other Lineman to continue in their perspective position. By the time the playoffs come. The draftee will be more comfortable with play calls and defensive alignments. Frank can groom him all season to make the transition smooth. God willing we will the SuperBowl. Frank will retire

@dennisligma4958 My rebuttal is this. The team does well because the OLine does well. Without Frank. The team was not as good. The O line is a Unit that works together. And Frank also helps Goeff recognize blitzes. GLASGOW and others did ok when Frank was hurt. Re-watch any game with Frank out. See how many more times Goeff ran for his life. Neither Gibbs nor Monty can do as well without Frank or Sewell . Even Skipper benefits with him there. We NEED a true center. The weapons we have will suffice. Or we can get later or free agency. Center is not a spot to play with. It also messes with the QB confidence.

CALEB isn't as good as people think, 31 career fumbles. He carries the ball with one hand, stares at the receiver that he intends to throw to. And will attempt more big plays when he has receivers open for shorter yards.

The only quarterback that might face those issues would possibly be Caleb. You never know now aways works out different. It made me miss word it again. I would love to see Chicago pick him.
