There is also Violet Evergarden, and even sports anime like Kuroko no Basket or Blue Lock are extremely fun and exciting even if they are simpler.

In an interview included in AOT ANSWERS, even Isayama himself acknowledged that the heavy focus on politics and exposition slowed down the pacing and made the arc less engaging for him personally. Additionally, Isayama has mentioned feeling burnt out while writing and illustrating the Royal Government Arc. This challenging period likely influenced the arc’s development and pacing. So, if you want to disagree, you have to take it up with the author himself lol.

@@detectivemarkseven He is very hard on himself, because I loved it and I know I'm not the only one. Also, I know Isayama faced critisism about this arc for how it was portrayed in the manga, but it was improved on in the anime. The pacing was way tighter then in the manga.
