That Ancient Gear player was actually just clicking buttons man. Not setting Urgent schedule, not chaining Urgent schedule to catapults activation, linking away the Golem on your field for Balista instead of using the Gear fusion effect to fuse from the deck, this dude just threw hardcore and if he wanted could have otk'ed that DM player.

Yeah, the main goal of competitive Yugioh has always been to become Solitaire. It's just that over time decks have become better and better at it.

This is specifically because of how centralized YGO is on some hand-traps to actually allow for interaction vs modern cards. When you have YGO without Ash Blossom, Nibiru, or even Effect Veiler, but you allow cards from the last few years, you're gonna get a whole lot of dumb FTK nonsense. That's how Mayakashi FTK did anything for instance, it loses to all 3

Most good handtraps are banned a Mayakashi FTK made it to finals. While finals being literally decided by the coinflip. It's almost as if handtraps serve a purpose.

Not surprised top cut is full of stuff like Stun, FTK, hand rip and OTKs now that all the cards and decks that can defeat those things are just gone. This game is, was, and will always be a bloodbath, but that's why people keep playing it. 6 more weeks of Nuclear Winter and maybe then we'll be blown back to Caveman Yu-Gi-Oh.

That AG dude misplayed horribly. As an AG Chad myself i would've chained urgent schedule to AG catapult, summon AG golem and then Wyvern to search AG fusion. Then link off the urgent schedule materials (2 AG monsters) into ballista and pop a second geartown for AG reactor dragon and go for game with 4 monsters (Chaos AGG, AG reactor dragon, ballista, AG wyvern or another Chaos AGG with overload fusion)

the second game was just a skill issue on red dragon players side , could have easily won, there was no way he knew the synchro call would have been chained to dark ruler which itself was a skill issue, a normal ojama player would have fired it first and the red dragon should have just won by making calamities im still mad

The reason is because cloudians were made back in GX era so if they had better effects back then they would of been to strong and now they wouldn't be as good now unless they get more support all these new decks are so strong and overpowering that's why the the old decks need alot more support
