Mcdoubles back again with a brand new video and today we're going to take a look at the brand new 1.17 patch on Turtle WoW, specifically looking at their HUGE NEW end-game zone - HYJAL!
This version of Hyjal is the absolute best and most fleshed out version of Mount Hyjal that I have ever seen in my life on any server. In this video we explore the entire zone and what it has to offer and by the end I genuinely feel like this is the most impressive patch of all time, let alone the most well executed version of Hyjal that has ever been seen. I definitely recommend checking it out!

Yeah i liked duskhaven but Twow does such a good job of making their content feel like it belongs in classic wow. All the custom quests, zones, items and so on just mesh with the world so perfectly that it's a seamless experience.

The only thing that sticks out slightly are how player Goblins are in this game because they do use some Catacylsm assets like their animation skeleton (for things like dances) and hair styles High Elves less so and forgivable since they are basically using TBC assets. But do still look "better" then other vanilla races in terms of texture work and such.

I hope you'll give turtle wow (and coverage of it) another chance moving forwards, because your previous criticism centered around the fact that the server isn't fresh, doesn't have much pvp etc. will be addressed with the release of the upcoming new server, the eu pvp realm slated for an end of October release.

???? This is a classic+ server. Ascension is RNG roll your character like it’s Diablo PVP simulator. Turtle has custom quests, lore, dungeons, zones, raids, that people actually like.

While a neat zone, this implementation of Hyjal doesn’t match the original intention of Hyjal. It was supposed to be another raid zone. The way WoW’s zones were originally designed were to have mob difficulty in an area ramp up, until you start getting frequent elites, with every zone having either an outdoor dungeon, instanced dungeon or a raid. Then certain raids were supposed to only be accessible through mega dungeons like BRD, BRS and Strat. Hyjal was supposed to have a raid within a raid. So you defeated a raid to have access to an even harder raid. For those saying, “but how were you supposed to get to raids through dungeons?” The player level and count cap in dungeons was not part of the original game, it was something Blizzard added after launch after they abandoned having raids be accessible through dungeons and decided they didn’t like 40 man raids running through content like Strat, BRS and Scholo.

It's about syndicate sniper shot, a nice stealth hunter build which you can integrate with or without mellee. Ps. You can use it with defias gunslinger if you want to

Turtle WoW has one of the WORST communities / world chats outside of actual retail WoW that I have ever seen. Maybe it just comes naturally from population, but there is zero moderation, and edgy tweens just sit there saying offensive, dumb shit all day. If you play this server, turn off world chat for your own sanity.

If Ascension lost your attention then Turtle WoW won't fill in the gap. They are basically just classic classes with minor adjustements slapped on top of shiny maps. After a few days it loses its charm.
