Brings back memories. That vintage of PU was the first drive for me in the pasture when I was 11 YOA. We still have some land outside of Buffalo OK. My great grand parents old place. Probably were "SOONERS" HA. Thanks for the memories. Is Fort Supply still in existence? My Grand Mother used to sell eggs and cream to the Hospital there.

@paneltruckbob3 жыл бұрын
When you replace the coolant in the truck I would recommend using regular antifreeze in it not the extended life one because it will attack the solder joints in your heater core. I found out the hard way . My 57 chevy panel radiator leaked then the heater core leaked . It is not recommed to use in older vehicles. Option 3 on the light.

I have never heard that before. Thanks for the tip!

Nah it wears its patina so well the patina just needs to be sealed. Painting it would ruin the charm of the truck.

I like the channel and the '59. I'm doing ongoing work on my '69 GMC, my daily driver. Today it's a rear main, oil pan gasket, re-wire starter. Next up, heater core and blower motor. It never ends...(did a radiator swap too!)

😜😜😜. Looks like the old girl isn’t the only one with issues cus KZbin just notified me of your video. If a new radiator is all it takes to getting her to ride down the road during a full moon than with her new bling than time for new tires (for humans new shoes) and no retreads for her. #3 was perfect but to some spooky music the others would be a fun option though not too far for sure. Living dangerously for a little bit is for a good laugh. But safety first when ya carrying a precious load like Woody. 😅😂🤣😂. Of course I meant Jack. 👍👍👍. Had the best time watching this video and superb camera angles and editing. Made me smile after I dropped entire transmission in middle of a busy intersection cruising to a stop as more rusty metal almost caught it on fire. So sure your old girl may have a few more parts needing a surprise fix and more shiny parts too. A girl can’t have too many so they say and your girls been buried for a long time. Enjoy and keep videos coming as I’m having flashbacks to those older trucks and cars and the fun working on them too. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️👍👍❤️👍👍❤️👍

4:45 what happened was you plugged the leaks and the next weakest point in the system was now the weakest link. And it was weaker than the pressure in the system. It might be worth trying to fix it again, pressure testing it, and if you can get it to pass a pressure test keeping it in storage for when that cheap ebay rad fails.
